I went here on my birthday and was really excited about getting my lips done. I liked the atmosphere and it APPEARED to be a professional setting. I decided to go ahead and get my lips done and during the process, i kept telling my tech to fill certain areas and but also do the same to the other sides as well. She kept telling me to not worry because the swelling would go down and it would be even after.I was not convinced but and left unsure that i would like them, they told me that 2 weeks later i'd see the final results and to come back to have a check up. They said they would call me but i never received the call. I was the one that had to reach out and schedule my appointment, that was the first red flag. 2nd red flag was when the other tech told me that the healing time was 3 months (she was even trying to argue with me.) I told them I wasn't happy with my results and wanted them to fix my lips. They told me that the only way to fix them would be to get them dessolver or purchase another syringe and even them out. I was so disappointed and angry at them because they literally were telling me either you pay more or we can dissolve your money away to make them even. It was My first-time visiting Alchemy 43, located in Santa Monica, California, on 11/15/2022 for Botox and Filler’s service for my wedding this weekend. I booked my appointment online, filled out all medical questions, and signed all the consent forms. First, The woman at the front desk was not in front, and I had to wait for her to finish putting on her makeup. It didn’t bother me so much. But what did bother me? After my consultation, this woman walked into the room to discuss the pricing.

On my first visit, I’d never been to this place. As I mentioned the Botox promotions, I asked her why I should pay for 14 units when I should go ahead and pay for the 20 units and take advantage of the specials. I could’ve come back and used the other 20 units later. She becomes very aggressive and Agitated. She told me I could not purchase 20 units because “hon,” it doesn’t work that way. Then she’s verbatim, “ why don’t you just go back to the place you got your last service, “ My head fell as I felt like I was denied the service they had advertised.

I got lip filler in my lips for the past 10 years and have been to several med spas to do so 5+ med spa technicians. I took a little break and decided to come give Alchemy 43 a shot. The needle placement and style/technique of the person I went to here was very different than what I've ever experienced before. Lots of mini needle pricks pointed directly at the lip vs what I've experienced in the past which was maybe 5-6 needle pricks total, angled more horizontal and more product each prick. And my results turned out pretty bad here related to this technique. First, the swelling, bruising & pain was much more than I've experienced likely because of so many needle pricks. I've never experienced pain. Next, the filler was extremely bumpy at every prick. It looks like a bunch of bug bites and very very lumpy. I guess the application style of the person I went to was one I've never experienced and my lip shape and texture look terrible.
