John Kelly Chocolates — Local services in Santa Monica

Very disappointed by John Kelly chocolates. I purchased a box of 9 chocolate dipped apricots for $36 as a gift for my wife. Unfortunately, they were no good at all.

The apricots were soaked with sugary syrup and tasted artificial, plus they were way too sweet. Plus, there is almost no chocolate on these at all! I cut one in half to show just how thin the chocolate coating is. It’s not even a millimeter of chocolate and it does not cover even half the fruit.

Wow! A Celebration in my Mouth! My daughter gave me a taste of John Kelly Chocolates as an Xmas stocking gift. Knowing my preference for nuts, she got me the Milk Chocolate Bark with Caramel, Alminds and Pecans. Heavenly! Silky-smooth ganache [the makers call it truffle fudge] that is easily the best American chocolate I've ever had, embedded with caramel, and perfectly roasted fresh almonds and pecans. Sensational! No words. Milk chocolate is the go to for most people right?!? It just tastes better…am I riiighht?! ☺️😊 however, JKC is unreal. Totally turned me around. They have the most robust, tasty, out of this universe flavors and dark chocolate concoctions. Great priced. You can buy individual chocolates or packs and the person helping you is always in a great mood....
