Family Christmas Tree Farm — Attraction in Santee

We love this Family Christmas tree farm and have been going here, every year, for the past nine years. This place, like family has grown.

Every year it gets better and more fun to see what they have done. This is a full service facility that you can even cut down your own tree if you can’t find one in the hundreds on display.

This is the most organized business that I shop at. They have several large parking lots, they have greeters with candy cane to help you get into the spirit, they have trees lined up by type and size.

They have friendly lot helpers that can help you find the right type of tree and size you are looking for. They have had “our” best tree, for nine years in a row…

Once you have found your perfect tree, they take to a tree process area where they cut off the bottom of the tree, shake all the loose stuff from it and then put it in a transport net for you and take it to the cashiers.

They have all different types of wreaths for the home as well. Cinnamon infused pine cones and little whisk brooms for decorating and getting you in the spirit. They still say Merry Christmas to everyone too!!

We go at night because it’s a bit cooler and a little more fun. This is the best lit tree lot around and really easy to get to.

I recently visited the Christmas tree farm in El Cajon, CA and it was a wonderful experience.

Upon arriving at the farm, I was greeted by friendly staff who told me the layout of the farm, in case I wanted to cut down my own tree. However, I decided to browse the rows of already-cut trees and was pleased to find a wide variety of options, including Douglas fir, Noble fir, and Grand fir.

After much contemplation, I finally selected the perfect tree and the staff assisted me in loading it onto my car. The crisp, fresh smell of pine was absolutely delightful and really added to the holiday atmosphere.

The staff at the farm also offered the option to flock my tree, which I decided not to do. Although the flocked trees they do have on display are lovely and it would add a lovely, snowy finish to the tree.

Before leaving, I browsed the farm's gift shop and found a few festive decorations. The staff were helpful in suggesting items and answering any questions I had.

The absolute worst experience I've ever had like this! I wish that I could give them MINUS stars!!!!

I live 2 hours away, so I called and asked what the price range was for the size of tree that I wanted. She seemed nice, and I told her I was coming from far away so i needed to know for sure. When I got there, there were no trees in that price range whatsoever for the size that I wanted.

Ok, no problem, so I give them my debit card. But I did mention that this is not the price that I was told her the phone. The woman that spoke to me on the phone came over to the register and was extremely hostile and completely denied everything that she said on the phone. She even started yelling at me. The manager came over, and the woman gave him a completely different story!! They were so unfriendly, extremely abrasive, and just plain mean! They made my daughter put back the tree that she picked out!!!

This was the worst experience I've ever had in customer service or a family business, in my entire life!!! So absolutely awful!!! Home Depot turned out to be such a better deal and SO much more friendly!!! Home Depot is about 45% less than this...
