i go to this store all time out of all the times i have been there no one has said hi but this time there was one guy that said hi how can i help i think his name was von nice kid like i said i never was ask that before he was doing his job and well i mite add this is were it get kind of funny but not to me . my wife had found a set of jars for the kitchen and it was a set and was being sold one pice at a time so my wife ask if they could give her a price like a package deal so the girl looked at all of the pices and gave her the same price i said that is the same that was on it she replied that is the best we can do . ok so i put all the stuff i was bying back and the stuff she was buying and i walked out i will never go back i was so mad be cause i have gave so much stuff to them over the years and when you give it you dont get paid for it so the stuff is free to them so in sted of takeing 2 or 3 dollars off she lost a sale of 75 dollars and we wont go back i will go to goodwell from know on and i will tell my...

I was visiting my mother in Sarasota yesterday and stopped by the Habitat Restore on 17th. As I left the store the lady at the front as how I liked the store, my comment to her was I thought the items were very pricey compared to our 3 stores in Charlotte County. I told her I loved our stores and visit them weekly as does my daughter. She said she had heard the Charlotte County stores were not very nice, I told her the stores merchandise was just as nice as the Sarasota store. She stated to me that their items were pricey because they had a higher class of people in Sarasota. I was shocked at that statement of how rude she was. I will never go back there. Wish I had seen these reviews and never called , seems to be the norm. Had a couch for 6 months, it was in perfect condition, clean, smoke free home. Honestly shocked when the drivers came and said it doesn’t meet our expectations!!! With zero explanation walked out. I will never donate another single item to this establishment. To say this is a scam is an understatement, The only reason i even called was the places I normally donate to had no space for a large couch .
