I grew up in satellite going to this theater when it was first opened back in the early 2000s. I have so much love for this theater but I’m so sad to see how it is ran. I’ve gone in there on two different occasions to see gladiator and it ends with us. Each time I was thrown off by an employee who acted like the manager who genuinely seemed like he couldn’t care less about customer service or relations with his subordinates. I’ve seen him yell at a girl behind the counter, in front of a bunch of customers mind you, about something that didn’t even pertain to her, and another time I needed help with a big purchase and he was just insufferable to deal with. The girl was very helpful and sweet to me, but it seemed like he couldn’t handle the job he was given and was nowhere to be seen for assistance when it was very busy. I hope they find a new manager because if this guy stays in the theater, it won’t last more than a month. I saw the same guy sitting on his phone in the back another time I came in and it just seemed like he couldn’t care less about the image to the public. This dude is easily in his 40s. I love this theater so much but to know that this is the guy running it makes me not wanna come back. I cannot condone the lackadaisical and bully like behavior to his customers as well as his employees. The structure itself is fantastic but management needs...
Read moreEverything about this theater is fabulous... EXCEPT....... the Price!!! I am a 50 year old full time struggling student getting a doctorates in Acupuncture. I take care of and totally support my 63 year old brother who is on SSD totally unable to work due to severe mental illness (he does not appear normal to the average person) and appears more like a severe autist. I would love to go there as it is only 2 miles from my home. We try to go to movies weekly and always buy popcorn and drinks... but I must make the longer 8 mile drive to the other theaters because they give my brother the same discount as elderly people and me a discount because I'm a student . This discount helps my pocketbook tenfold as we like to he able to treat ourselves with popcorn. I asked the manager and explained that my brother is disabled on SSD and I'm a student and he said he only gives discounts to military . Your loss !!!! You're loosing allot of popcorn and soda money and patronage with us!!! I'm talking 2 people at four movies a month ! That's 8 drinks 4 popcorn's and 8 discounted tickets a month. Other than that it's a...
Read moreAttempted to see Incredibles 2 last Sunday. We arrived for the scheduled first showing only to find an employee desperatly attempting to enter the building because the manager hadn't shown up and wasn't returning phonecalls. The employee decided to try the backdoor which apparently had been left unlocked by the crew responsible for closing the night before. Once the doors were open I inquired if he also ran the audio booth and could set the film up. Apparently, that is a task left up to just a few individuals to include the manager. Since the movie was supposed to start in 10 minutes and the chances of anyone additional showing up to help this young man were dwindling we left and went to the Oaks on the mainland. I'd like to give 5 stars to the poor guy who was attempting to do his job this day and 0 stars to the managment and ownership of this establishment for not having a cohesive plan for how to operate...
