We had a church ⛪ picnic on Saturday 05/17/25 at Pickerel Park under the pavilion. This is our actual 2nd and or 3rd time at this location. Thier was plenty of room to easily host well over 300 people comfortably and we had a few large fans which kept us somewhat comfortable while dining.Thier is a large kitchen area with BBQ pits and good size countertop to serve all your party and plenty of space for the kiddos to run around safely. Additionally, they have clean restrooms that are very close to the pavilion area. They have many other amenities to include a pool and places to set up for volleyball and baseball or kickball. If your looking for a great place to have anything from your next family BBQ and or a church ⛪ picnic outing I would highly recommend you give this park a...

I brought my kids here for the first time. I have heard of this park quite a bit specifically for having events. It has a lot of land and small playscapes spread out through out. So I could see how they had room to hold community events, but I seriously don't see how they would accommodate parking. I saw the park had it's own gated pool, and a huge covered basketball court. I would recommend maybe an area for baseball, volleyball, or soccer fields. I think they have plenty room if they worked on it. The kids did enjoy the big rockwall and separate playgrounds with slides, monkey bars, swings, and climbers. It's nice. I didn't notice any water fountains or restroom facilities. It is located off of 78, a little ways out my way... so I would visit again just...

Visited the pool for Memorial Day weekend 2024 and we had a good time. I believe it was $3 per person so bring small bills. The pool was a little dirty but it had just opened so no real issue there. The shallow area is big enough for learners and not yet stronger swimmers to play and have a good time.

You can bring your own chairs, coolers with food and drink (no glass). It was an over cast day so we didn’t need a canopy. There is limited amount of shade around the pool area. There’s a pavilion with a couple tables and there are lounge chairs around the pool. There weren’t any concessions there when we went. A couple vending machines with...
