Bar House — Restaurant in Schertz

Service was horrible. Even though we arrived before another group (literally standing behind us), the waitress actually took their orders before us...all the while flirting with the guys in the group. Once she finally decided to take our order, she never asked what my wife wanted (standing right beside me), I had to stop her before she walked away, when she returned she set my beer on the bar and literally grabbed the $20 from my hand before running off. When I ordered, not only did she not know what craft beers they had, once she looked at the labels, she didn't know if it was a Pilsner, Porter, IPA, or a Stout. I don't expect the waitress to be a professional bartender but she should at least know what they are selling. Terrible service. I might come back sometime, it's convenient to my house,...

Nice bar with comfortable and relaxing sitting area outside. There's about 15 seats outside under a covered patio and about 30 seats in a little lawn area with a few games. Bartender was nice and explained their signature cocktails. There was no food in Sunday, but he said there's food trucks on Friday and Saturday and outside food is allowed on other days.

Drinks were very refreshing, sitting area was comfortable, and not too crowded, so had plenty of personal space. Only confusing part was where the entrance was. The gates on the back outside area are locked, side door is employees only. Need to walk to street side for front door. Minor confusion for first time visitor, but still a good experience. Will visit again.

“Acknowledgement” it’s huge in the retail and customer service industry. But to stand at a bar top for ::20 minutes, and I timed it since it’s the seasoned MGR in me:: with no “I’ll be right with you” or anything was absolutely ridiculous. Instead the two Tik Toks behind the bar proceeded to dance and make videos like THAT was their job. Passed over every what seemed to be new patron to help and expedite their friends drinks that only had to wait a matter of minutes was enough for me to walk back next door to Hidden Grove. Would love to give this place another try, but it seems like the food truck is faster at putting out product than the bartenders can just opening a beer and...
