Bar 1899 — Restaurant in Schertz

We always love going to 1899. Quaint, cozy, (sometimes) quiet little place. They have started to have something for entertainment nearly every day of the week. They have poker nights, naughty bingo (with regular AND naughty prizes), karaoke, acoustic singer(s), dart League & they're continuously thinking of new things to have for people to come in. During football season, they have all the TVs on & people come in to enjoy the game(s) & food that's provided. Open pool table. Great bartenders. Always clean. We never have a bad time at 1899. Terrible Experience. The owner is shockingly rude and unprofessional. If you accidentally walk in when the bar is closed, even if the door is still unlocked because you just saw someone else walk in, be prepared. Instead of simply telling you they’re closed, the owner may immediately start yelling, using inappropriate language, and even threatening to call police. Absolutely unacceptable behavior...

It was grand opening lots of folks. We were sitting at end of bar. Bartenders mostly stayed at the other end. Their drinks are a little off or their count.
