Very nice, friendly ladies who run the shop, I had a little trouble finding it but was excited when I did, however, the childrenâs books are extremely overpriced. They are basically charging the same price as new books. For example I was charged $9 for one used childrenâs picture book, so after getting rung up for a grand total of $50 for like 5 books, I declined and only bought one book for $16 as a courtesy for the free ones they gave. It is nice that they offer a free section of damaged books for kids, however, I will not be going back. I will continue to go to the UC public library book sales. We've been customers for a little over a year since we moved to the area, and love browsing the vast collection of books and records. I personally go crazy in the record section and end up walking away with arms full of vinyl to add to our collection. This particular visit my husband and I were looking for books for our neighborhoods Little Free Library and boy did the Crazy Lady Bookstore come through for us! They have a wealth of modern and historical books, antiques, movies, just incredible finds from every decade and walk of life.
