Bruce's Foodland Scottsboro — Attraction in Scottsboro

Its a good Supermarket hear hear about this friendlier staff than Super Walmart Scottsboro. Their prices are a bit higher but on meat prices they're much better and the quality is much better. If you're looking for soda they beat Walmart hands down .Same with beer . And when meat, beer,soda and some other goods are on sale they really beat Walmarts prices. Dairy maybe higher but you don't have to worry about finding out dated dairy products on the shelves like Walmart in Scottsboro because the store stocking crew isn't rushed, nor do they have to worry about making a case count every night! Also the staff is much friendlier because their supervisor treats them with the respect they deserve. Other things that you can get done at Bruce's Foodland are faxing, copies,and send or receive Western Union Money transfers. This store has a hot and cold deli( where you can eat lunch , breakfast, or even supper) a bakery that will order cakes for special occasions, and a darn good Pharmacy too which is pretty fast at filling prescriptions and if you are like me and have no drug coverage the prices are near to Walmarts and some are even cheaper like...

A super clean well maintained and very large grocery store. Absolutely blown away by how well kept this place was and the excellent staffing including multiple cashiers working with baggers as well. Shopping here is like stepping back into time to the good ole days of food world on the corner. Days I'm not even sure really existed. Kroger could never, and Publix wishes it was this nice and well staffed in its fondest daydreams. This store makes me want to relocate to this area just so I can regularly shop here instead of murder Kroger in East Nashville. I wouldn't even mind if it was a little more expensive but the prices were great too. Some nice sales, a bargain wall and a great butcher aisle with competitive meat prices. Friendly staff. Easy to locate merchandise. Really good quality of fresh meat. You can talk to the butcher, and order your meat the way you want. Deli serves good hot food. Every Tuesday they have senior citizens discounts. 10 percent. Just apply for the card, and pick it up right away. You will not be disappointed. ( UPDATE. ) In December or last year, before Christmas. I was checking out. My grocery was $89.00. I was paying with my debit card. It was denied. I knew that I had 4 times that amount to pay for it. I didn't have my phone with me. They let me use their phone. While I was on hold. One of the workers came up to me, and told me not to worry about it. My bill was paid by an anonymous person.
