Piggly Wiggly — Attraction in Scottsboro

I always go to Piggly Wiggly to get produce as they have a lot better/fresher produce, along with cheese and meat selection, compared to Big Chain Corporations, like Walmart, Kroger, Etc. The employees are very helpful, and if you ask any of them where something is, they can tell you right off the bat! They don't even have to call for help to find out. This is also a great place to get eggs as they are not as high as they are at walmart, Kroger, the Dollar General store, or any other store chains. Everything at Piggly Wiggly is not always the cheapest, I highly recommend getting what is on sale because those items will be cheaper than if you go to a different store like the ones I mentioned. I love their Deli! They will cut your cold cut meats and fresh cheese right in front if you, as thin or thick as you want it! I wish we had more Piggly Wiggly stores. The only things tgat are ALOT more money than say Wal-Mart, Dollar General, or Kroger grocery stores, are things like steak sauce, and name brand mayonnaise, unless of course, it is on sale! They do have a better selection of soft drinks, and sparkling or carbonated water, than other grocery stores. I found Piggly Wiggly to be cheaper than Save-A-Lot. Highly recommend this store, especially tis location, and the one in Tracy City and Sewanee or Monteagle are wonderful too! Great place to get birthday...

This is the most dirtiest disgusting store ever! They have gallons of milk and chocolate milk with dirty hand drippings all over it.It's totally disgusting. They have sails, you go in there and they never have the stuff! Take a gander at their ceiling. It's really gross with cobwebs, falling down and everything else onto food, and today to people. They truly need better management, and they need to remodel it and get with the times or tear it down. And it always smells like urine when you walk towards the back by the ice cream.🤧🤢🤮 and when they have a sale on their frozen stuff, it's because their freezer is usually broke down.So you go in and buy a bunch of stuff and you come home and it's all rotten. DOWN...

This grocery store is by far my favorite one to go to. Along with it's easy in and out set up, it is a very clean and well organized store. If you need to find something in particular , it's not like you are embarking on a scavenger hunt. If by chance you do need help, there are always the younger kids who they have staffed there that are willing to help you. They are very friendly and well mannered for high school kids. It's just overall a pleasant experience when I go there for a not so pleasant thing that I always dread doing!!! Oh and I almost left the most important thing out. The chicken from their deli is some of the best you can find in this town, with a price that you can't...
