Looking for the best cafe in all of Scottsdale for an AWESOME breakfast????? Butters Pancake Cafe is a place you want to visit. We have been a faithful fan and customer from the beginning. I would like to share some comprehensive reason why? 1. Butters has the best skillet potatoes/ hash browns bar none. Their potatoes are pan seared to give it a buttery flavor. Here is how I describe it.....YUMMY!!!! 2. Butters has great tasting coffee to compliment any breakfast. They are not stingy about refills and they don’t charge for refills. 3. Butters servers fluffy pancakes that melt in your mouth. I recommend you order real maple syrup (extra charge). 4. Butters eggs are cooked delicately and With precision to your likening, over medium for me since I love my eggs with toast. 5. Butters keeps a clean place to relax with friends or family. The decor is up to date and kept clean in between their busy time. Restroom needs to be checked more often, the last person missed the urinal, not their fault the place was very busy. 6. I was served by Liz (see the attached image) I strongly recommend that you be seated in her section unless she is promoted. She is great at anticipating your food needs and has great follow up. Overall I would give Butters 5 stars for best of the best places to take your team for breakfast or lunch. Great team! Great job Liz for making me feel welcomed today

Butters is a popular local chain specializing breakfast with some creative hot cakes and fresh squeezed orange juice. We dropped by for a weekday breakfast. The interior is bright and clean, the service is fast and friendly, but the food is very mediocre. We ordered huevos ranchero and an egg and protein combination served with a pancake. The huevo ranchero stacked eggs, chorizo, avocado, cheese, and salsa on stale, thin tortilla shells. Personally, I prefer variations prepared tortilla chips, but either way the freshness was disappointing. The scrambled eggs had a strange, rubbery consistency and the turkey bacon was clearly cooked in advance and tossed on the plate. That said, the banana cream pancake salvaged breakfast. The pancake was light and fluffy, the banana cream wasn’t overly sweet, and the pecans and graham crackers added a little texture. I’d also order the creamy grits again. Ultimately, freshness and flavor could’ve been better overall, but a quick plate of pancakes may be worth a visit.

Wow! 10/10 restaurant! I’ve been going to their main location at Scottsdale road and Shea for over 13 years now, and this location has become my favorite! Every single person we have been in contact with has been super pleasant and professional! From the coffee bar, to the front desk, to the waiters all top notch! Our all time favorite worker is a Hispanic man with literally the best and biggest smile! Just seeing him makes my entire day, amazing energy and the food completely blows you away as well! I get a very big custom order and it always hits the spot! The hash browns are perfectly cooked, the omelets are literally the most delicious eggs I’ve ever had, the coffee SLAPS, the orange juice is freshly squeezed! It’s all perfect, I could eat here everyday, sometimes I do eat here several times a week because the atmosphere and food are just phenomenal. Thank you for everything!

Our favorite brunch place. Amazing crepes, pancakes, omelettes and coffee. We were there again today with a friend. I had the veggie omelette with hash browns and sour dough bread. Husband had the usual wildberry bliss crepes. This ones our favorite with mascarpone cheese, vanilla cream and berries. Our friend had the Denver omelette with grits and pancakes. Food good, coffee good, service was great. William attended us and he was very helpful and patient. Took really good care of us. We had a leisurely brunch and no one hurried us. We used yelps nowaitapp to get our name into the wait list so hardly waited for five mins. Would recommend using it so that you don't have to wait long. It's always crowded during weekend. But service is good and quick nevertheless. Their freshly squeezed orange juice is pretty good too. Check out the pictures for more details 😁

Looking on Google we found this place and thought it would be great for a try and enjoy some breakfast. The atmosphere was great and we had a short 5 minute wait until we were seated. The service was a bit of a disappointment. The servers were young and seemed very distracted from us as they kept forgetting to get coffee cream or hot sauce even with repeated requests. The server taking our order started laughing and apologized as she was laughing at what her coworker was saying. Just felt like we were an afterthought. The food was just ok, as the New Mexico skillet was just a bit bland. Hence the need for hot sauce. My wife got an order of pancakes and I thought the size of them were on the small size both diameter and thickness. Overall it was an ok experience and yes, I would come back to try it one more time just to see.

Wait was reasonable on a Sunday morning. About 15-20 mins. Food was served quickly, staff was attentive and friendly. Options were pretty good I got the omelette with chicken and bacon and feta, hash browns and side of upgraded berry bliss pancakes. Everything was great. I couldn’t finish my hash browns but they were very good and different than usual, scalloped. Our only complaint was the temperature of the restaurant. It was hot. It’s just our personal preference but having to take off our long sleeves and light sweaters to eat shouldn’t be necessary to avoid sweating in mild weather outside. Keep restaurants cool ☺️ (Not cold). I also thought it would be great to have green juice options on the menu. Bonus: Bathroom was clean too!
