See's Candies — Attraction in Seal Beach

This location was quick, clean, and the women working were so kind. I took my oldest with me to run some errands in the area and remembered when I was younger, receiving those certificates for 1 lb of chocolate. I wanted him to go in with me and have an experience like the one I used to love. It was everything I wanted it to be. They were each helping customers when we walked in. But they made sure to acknowledge us. We walked around, and I showed him where we get our "fancy" boxes from that we send out during the holidays. They were amazing sample distributors. When I declined a sample, she offered me something else (of course, couldn't resist). When it was our turn to purchase, she weighed out each box, and if it was over or under, made sure that I knew the cost difference and verified that it was alright with me. I'm glad my kid got the same experience I used to get going in with my mom and that the customer service experience...

This review is about our experience & not the actual store or merchandise. We are disappointed & in disbelief that someone would sneak in extra chocolates to our order I'm assuming to cheat & make his personal or overall store sales goal. I myself asked for 1 milk Bordeaux & my husband asked for 2 peanut butter patties & 2 other chocolates I cant recall the names of along with a birthday assorted box. I was wondering why our small order of 5 chocolates cost almost $9 but didnt look into the bag until hours later only to find that the employee snuck an additional 10 chocolates into our bag!!! This is dishonest and he obviously lacks integrity. I will be going to my usual sees store in Fullerton...

I had such a wonderful experience at the See’s Candies on Seal Beach Blvd! Alexandra helped me pick out the perfect gift for a party I was attending, and she was absolutely fantastic. She was thoughtful, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the products. She even told me about upcoming promotions for future visits. I left the store feeling confident that my gift would be well received, and truly appreciated the care she put into helping me. A beautiful shopping experience that deserves...
