I am so incredibly disappointed with my experience at Bonjour Nails and was also overcharged. I was a regular here but I will not be returning. I asked for a French dip manicure with tip extensions (I have got this same manicure here several times before). In my most recent visit, my technician asked if I wanted them short, but I said medium. She then brings out white plastic tips (instead of clear). Usually I get to decide the length with the clear but with the white plastic, it essentially just ends up being the top of the nail. I didn’t know any of this before as this was the first time I’ve had a French manicure with white plastic instead of paint. I tried to ask how it was going to work / if they would be too short. My technician was then rude to me and made me feel bad for asking so I didn’t say anything further. She then proceeded and glued 4 of the plastic white nails on and i requested that she didn’t cut them too short. But because it was the white, it didn’t look like French anymore when it was long - it looked like the whole half of the nails were white which is not what I asked for. She became agitated with me for telling her this was not what I wanted and even said “well it’s easier for me to do it this way instead of the clear tips”. She said If I wanted the clear tips then I would need to wait until someone else could do it. At this point I felt bad and just had her proceed but first cut the nail shorter so that it would at least look like French nails. It turned out so incredibly short that there was no point in the end of even getting tips because they were the same length of my real nail… In the end I was charged $65: 55 for the dip, an extra $5 for the tips and an extra $5 for the French. This is the amount I usually pay BUT in this case there wasn’t any French painting - they just used white tips, so it was not fair I would have to pay for both. I am so upset and disappointed in this experience and will not be going to or recommending this salon going forward.

I broke a nail, and after I tried to use nail glue, and then press on nails to keep nail together, both methods failed. So, realizing I was starting to damage my nails, I panicked and made an appointment with Bojour to have acrylics put on. I've only had a couple of manicures on my natural nails and had no idea what to expect. From start to finish, I was unsettled, but i figured i was just nervous to do a new thing. Despite me making an appointment, I had to wait a half hour for them to start. They didn't remove the nail glue from the drug store nails before filling (despite me specificity saying that it was there). I tried to ask questions about the process, and the nail tech asked if i was ok rather than answering my questions. They didn't push back my cuticles, and just a few days later, they already looked to me like they needed a fill. The nails themselves are super thick and uneven. I asked the tech to cut them short enough to be able to type for work, and she left them too long to do so. They put on a different color than I asked, when I tried to say something the manager came over and said that it was dark purple and would look like the color I picked when they put more coats on - I wanted a dark indigo but I got a deep plumb. There was a language barrier, and I have an auditory processing issue, so at the time, I chocked some of this up to the communication barriers. It happens to me a lot, so I just try not to be a bother and trust the professionals. Now, I'm a week and a half out, and I'm seeing lifting on most of the nails. The right pointer finger is the worst and is catching on my hair and clothes at the back end of the nail. I'm also seeing a lot of chipping at the tips (was supposed to be gel polish). When it was time to pay, I was hesitant, and the tech pressured me into giving her a tip. I just paid and got out of there. I won't be back.

Just moved to WA and was looking for a liquid gel builder nails salon, the website said liquid gel nails so I called, booked an appointment for a fill and drove an hour there. Turns out that it’s poly gel. It’s completely different material. However, I still did it because I never had Polly (it’s not acrylic). I’m naturally allergic to acrylic... it’s been a day my nails/finger tips feel warm and a little swollen.. overall the salon was great! The staff are friendly, just a little pricey but overall great. I’ll visit again whenever I’m in the area. But maybe I’ll try gel polish only instead.. didn’t give 5 stars because I got a few cuts on my right pinky and right ring finger. Also not a variety of sparkly colors.

This was my second time going here and the second was worse than the first. The first time, I noticed that the women who worked here didn’t really acknowledge me when I walked in, even though I had called ahead for an appointment. Then as I was getting my nails done I noticed that everyone around me (all white women) was getting a 5 min quick massage at the end of their nail session. My nail session ended and I didn’t receive that, it was very weird. Being black in northern seattle these are things I think about often. Then, I came in again recently, giving it another shot (they are one of the only places that are open later). I called at 4 and asked to get my nails done, acrylic fill and gel manicure. I said I was a available at 6 and they insisted I come sooner, so I said I would try for 545. I got there at 555 after paying for an uber and rushing. When I got there no one acknowledged me or gave me nail polish options. I just stood there. Every woman in the store was busy with someone. Finally I asked were I could sit once again got a very limited selection of polishes. I mean they don’t even have a single one that is gold or sparkly at all. The place is really clean and nice and well-maintained so it’s kind of shocking that they can spend a few more bucks on nail polishes. They started on my nails and then another woman came in to help do my nails so there was a woman on each hand. Not to be annoying but we’re still in a pandemic and I feel like there was no focus on social distancing at all. They started my nails around 630 which means that I was waiting there for over 30 minutes. Then when they were doing my nails they were both rushing which really made no sense because online it says that their shop closes at 7:30. If their intent on rushing when there’s nobody else in the store now except for me is kind of inconsiderate of their customers. If you want to close earlier, update your times online. Because one of the woman was rushing she hit my hand with the nail drill a few times. It didn’t cause any Serious injury or anything but it was just kind of unprofessional and ridiculous especially because it was an hour until they were about to close. Regardless my nails came out nice but I won’t be visiting again. Once again I didn’t get a little back massage that I saw all the other white women in the store receive. I’m not really sure what is going on here but it’s just strange to give some of your customers perks that you don’t give your other customers. I might be black but I am still a paying customer and your price is certainly...

I usually don't bother to write reviews but I had the worst experience here. I went with my daughter, we made an appointment in advance. We usually go to Hoa or ST nails and only had great experience there.

When we walked in we were ignored, asked to sit at two tables that were not cleaned. After 20 minutes a woman who never said hello or looked at us at all started doing my daughters acrylic nails, while she was doing that she got up 5 times and cleaned pedicure stations, changed manicure stations and kept walking away. She did not say anything to either of us. Nothing. Like we were not there. So uncomfortable as she kept just grabbing my daughters hand, it was so odd. Then another woman who did say hello to me came to do my nails. I am always polite, so we ended up tipping 20% and left but agreed with my daughter we are not coming back. Then that same night one of my gel manicures popped off. Next day two more did. I called and they said to come in to show them. I came in, a woman fixed three of my nails. She was nice. I told her I was worried that there was something wrong with the polish as it was coming off so easily and bubbling up. I believed it was because the polish was hard and they diluted it when I originally had it done. She said not to worry put a clear coat on. I thanked her, tipped her and left. Two hours later two of the original gels came off. I called and came back. This is where it gets bad. The women in the store did not acknowledged me, even tough one of them was the woman who fixed 3 of them when I came in. There was only one additional customer and 4 workers there. Not one of them came to talk to me, they made faces at each other and talked about me yelling across the room for a long time. Then a woman told me I had to pay $30 to get this done and I should stop picking my nails. This was terrible. I decided not to get any more color from them, they just glared and after they pooped all my gels off ( they came off in one piece with just using a nail) I left.

I paid $50 for my nails to be done, here. I did not have a single day to enjoy a manicure. had to go in twice, did not get it fixed, and was teated horribly. Noone ever talked to me, just talked about me in front of me....
