I enjoyed visiting Co Lam Pagoda Temple they have a very welcoming main entrance. Parking is onsite rather than on the street. And they have a small little trail around the side of the main temple. This trail is good if you go on a sunny day. It can be slippery trail not recommended during rainy day. The view is beautiful on a sunny day from up top of the hill. vegetarian food is always available to buy. Co Lam Pagoda Temple Vietnamese New Year 2024. I came on a Friday of Tet. Parking is across the street plenty of space. The main Hall open for prayers and bottom level is the cafeteria with many vegetarian food to buy and mini games for kids to play. The fireworks are usually done midnight and around 11-12 noon the next day. Decorations and light colors are fun and colorful for celebrating Tet.

If you want to find a place to meditate and relax your mind, you have come to the right place. The pagoda is not well known to many people unless Vietnamese people. The pagoda is very quite in the workdays and you barely see anyone inside the temple. I love coming here since I want to enjoy some peaceful and mindful moments and separate myself from the busy life. Overall, the pagoda is clean, well maintained and green. I highly suggest people coming to this pagoda for relaxing and discovering about the Vietnamese culture

I absolutely love this temple. The gate is open all day everyday for everyone. I always feel welcomed. It felt peaceful on a sunny day. I'm not Vietnamese but I go there few times a year to donate and pay my homage respect to the Goddess, Kwan yin. She's been in my dreams and my spiritual guide. Since I was 7 or 8 yrs old, I wanted to be a nun back in Thailand. When I'm ready to retire, I wanted to be a nun before I die. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

I had to attend a temple chosen by my professor and Co Lam Pagoda was the temple our professor assigned us to go and visit. Unfortunately, we tried to arrange for somebody to guide us through the temple answer some questions, but we never got a reply. However, we decided to go on our own. When went to the temple, nobody seemed to acknowledge our presence or welcomed us or asked if we needed guidance. Nonetheless, I tried to gesture to one of the congregation members and she gestured back with aggression. I was shocked to be honest. I do not think these are the teachings that Buddha taught dedicated buddhists. I was disappointed and expected more from...
