BEWARE! Even though there’s an admission fee, the pumpkins are 2x as expensive than buying them anywhere else ($10 per pumpkin!!) I don’t believe Venetucci Farm grows their own pumpkins. Pretty sure they just buy a couple crates from Walmart and throw them on one of their dirt fields, so it's not even much of an experience "picking one out" either, in my opinion. False advertising too - place advertised having miniature horses, alpacas, and apple cider - none of which was here. Petting zoo is extremely tiny and the animals were peeing on eachother as a result. You own a farm - why is every animal cramped inside a couple 3x3 monkey metal cage for hamsters? Signage was confusing - there’s a big sign that says “pick your own” next to the flowerfields, but doing this will get you yelled at. You need to pay for it first at some off-trail house (+ your admission fee!) Staff seemed apologetic and understanding that the signage was bad. Halloween trail was your typical 20 disparate props from Spirit Halloween on clearance, randomly and depressingly splayed about. There were constant Spartan Mosquito cylinders placed everywhere. These products simply do not work and will not protect your guests from mosquitos - look it up! Market popups felt like what you'd see at a flea market - except you don’t need to pay admission fees for these anywhere else but here. Wasn't really motivated to buy anything. $4 for a shot glass of lemonade with ice and similarly marked up prepackaged muffins.
This felt pretty cynical and not very well done, which I wouldn't care about if there wasn't an upfront fee to enter (even though everything besides the petting stations are paid, anyway?) Farms are usually a really good spot to enjoy fall festivities, but it felt really lacking here, everything felt unnatural and “shipped in."
Edit: Owner responded trying to justify the price tag. No, I don't think a depressing, small 1 bale high "hay maze," nor a short tractor ride in a field with nothing to look at is worth $8. Lastly, you can't really call this place a "pumpkin patch." There is no patch! It's a dirt field that you've dumped already-cut pumpkins onto. You're not even "picking" a pumpkin off of a vine, you're just picking a pumpkin up from a field. Should rename your activity to pumpkin...
Read moreMy husband & I got married at Venetucci in June. We had the BEST experience there - from the moment we stepped foot on the property for our first tour with Tina, to working with Marea, Birdie, and Sarah throughout our planning process/day of, till even after our wedding day. The venue was absolutely stunning, from the outdoor ceremony, to the chicken coop cocktail hour, to the barn reception and last minute indoor s’mores bar (originally supposed to be outside but due to high winds we had a last minute change of plans). The best part about having our wedding at Venetucci though was hands down the staff. Every single person involved in the process was kind, genuine, responsive, and thinking of things my husband and I never would have thought of. Our wedding day was beautiful and ran so smoothly ONLY because their team was on top of every little detail my brain never could have kept track of in a million years. One of my highlight moments of working with Venetucci was about 10/15 minutes before I was getting ready to walk down the aisle. I was sitting alone in the bridal suite and starting to get really nervous to be in front of so many people. Eli knocked on the door and asked if it was okay to come in. He sat with me, asked how I was feeling, and talked with me for a few moments to help calm me down. We took a couple deep breaths together and I felt so much more at peace. It was such a genuine moment and one that I won’t forget. Thank you, Venetucci, for making one of the best days of our lives so, so beautiful and perfect! I would recommend Venetucci Farms to any bride looking to have a seamless...
Read moreI and another long term Springs resident ( 53 years here for both of us) recently were blessed to attend the Rocky Mountain Flower Festival at Venetucci Farm. It was their second year doing this and I do hope it becomes an annual event. It was absolutely charming. We wandered through the flower gardens where you could pick your own cut flowers, we visited with the resident bee-keepers (fascinating!), we purchased hand-made crafts in the merchant tents and we danced to excellent blue grass music from several bands while sipping on refreshments from the food trucks and a local distillery. It was right at the golden hour of the day and even a typical quick Colorado rainstorm couldn’t put a damper on the magic of the event. It was Colorado western culture at its finest. We also loved the barn which has been furnished with a beautiful polished wood floor and is available as a wedding venue. Its views and spacious charm made me wish I had someone to recommend it to. And no, I was not paid for saying that. Lol! I highly recommend a visit and maybe even holding your special event there. These days, there isn’t much of the old Colorado I grew up with left—thank goodness Venetucci Farm is...
