We wanted to try a new place since we just moved to this area. We read the reviews of East Dragon and decided to give it a shot. My husband went in and placed a large order for take out, and brought the food home. Once we opened the bag we realized we had not gotten any rice (we ordered fried and steamed), so we called. The person who answered the phone asked if we were sure we had not gotten our rice and we assured him we had not. Why would we call and say we had not, if we had? So he informed us some would be delivered to us in 15 minutes. We thought no big deal, we will just eat our appetizers. Five minutes later our phone rings and it's a different person from East Dragon and he proceeds to question my husband. He asked if we were sure we did not get our rice and we assured him we had not. He then asked what we had gotten and my husband told him each thing we had. He then said again, "are you sure your rice is not there and you are not seeing it?" We assured him a third time there was no rice. He then wanted my husband to tell him exactly what he did see in front of him and how many microwave containers we had, and what was in each! Now I am sorry but this is beyond rude and ridiculous. This is not how a customer should be treated, ever! Rice is by far one of the cheapest items and why would you question a customer over and over about rice? I would not ever waste my time calling to say I had not gotten rice just for the heck of it. Our rice finally arrived and my husband was asked to open the bag in front of the delivery person to ensure the rice was there. Well you just brought it so shouldn't you know that? Again you are questioning our honesty? Once we actually got to sit and eat, it was blah! My steamed rice was a big glob of mush. It was so oversteamed and so mushy, I could not eat it. My Mongolian beef was tasteless. My husbands dinner wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. I can assure you with as rude as these people are, we will never, EVER go there again, nor would we ever recommend them. We will drive 20 minutes and go to Overseas 101 or one of the many GOOD chinese restaurants up that way. Signed, so disappointed and disgusted! P.S. Shame on you East Dragon for treating customers so...
Read moreTried both dine in and delivery. Food was fresh, hot, with a crisp fry opposed to the over breaded, soggy breading and veggies you'll find in most american-Chinese restaurants. They have an extensive menu which is good in this case as you get a choice of Asian foods. Their bubbly tea drinks are fun and flavorful; I would highly recommend going in to try them. As far as the establishment and service you have to keep in mind that this is a small local establishment run on a low budget. Given that they are on par; its clean, comfortable and the staff are good and friendly but not cheerful or personable. All and all this is the most flavorable place in town for...
Read moreOne of my favorite places to eat and the food is normally great. I tried thier lemon chicken for the first time and it needs alot of work. I pretty much recieved a chicken breast fried and cut into long wide slices. The lemon sauce was watery white little flavor. Putting a cut lemon slice on it doesent make it lemon chicken. I say this becouse i hope they can make that dish better. Ive had amazing lemon chicken in the past from other places. It should resemble popcorn chicken with a thick yellow lemon sauce. I give their lemon chicken a one and a huge fail. The chicken was also dry, tough, and hard to eat. But the rest of their food that i have tried over the...
