7/2022 ~ I just thought I'd keep mentioning my favorite caterer. I was surprised that he LOWERED the prices by making many of the items add ons. Bryce is AMAZING to work with and is my #1 top pick for catering. So much food!
At this point, I am now prepared with my own chafing dishes, sternos, and keep a large pan handy to use as a double boiler to keep the food hot without burning it.
2/2022 ~ Great lunch buffet! Thanks, Bryce, for once again sending a spectacular amount of food!
I'm so happy that I got to visit your place down in Security on Main Street. It was quite easy to find. Very colorful.
My school went with the lunch taco bar: Red chili chicken (and some zero heat chicken for the staff that think black pepper is too hot), flour tortillas, red and green salsa (I like the green salsa), elote (I don't think we had this, but we had lots of extra stuff), sour cream, pico (I love your pico), shredded cheese, shredded lettuce (because my school couldn't wrap their minds around cabbage), limes & beautiful jalapeños, and queso fresco.
There were also chips (which people loved) and chopped onions. The "planning committee" loved the drinks that you sent along. Thank you so much!
I did warn them that there was a lot of food ... and Fire Station 9 appreciates that you sent a lot of food, because I took them the leftovers. They said that there was a lot of food and they were very excited, since they had just returned from a call.
1/2022 ~ Thanks to Bryce for catering our convention's breakfast buffet! Two sizes of tortillas, crispy tater tots, scrambled eggs, breakfast sausage, bacon (the bacon was absolutely the best), sliced ham, and shredded cheese. Sour cream, green salsa (milder and my family's favorite), and red salsa. Both salsas are good and some of the folks helping with my event requested some of the leftover salsa to take home. (One said it's the best salsa she's ever had.) Thank you for including the ketchup for our ketchup person.
We made the buffet as safe as possible by having optional hand sanitizer, mandatory disposable gloves (Sam's Club Members Mark), mandatory masks ... and if you come back for more, no reusing gloves/plates/etc.
I also found out that Roll Up catered my school's holiday party with breakfast burritos cut in half ... and they were very filling!
Thanks to COS Foodies Facebook group for the recommendations. We really felt like we had a lot of food and were able to share leftovers. One person recognized the salsa and said that she goes to Roll Up every week!
Great job, Roll Up! I look forward to having you cater something...
Read moreI am writing this review NOW because when it happened I didn’t feel the need to BASH a company based off of one bad apple and one bad experience. However, this owner was happy enough to BASH drivers, instead of Doordash the company, in a post on their home facebook page. Don’t believe me? The post is still up, you’ll find all the kind, wonderful things he has to say about people trying to make a living and delivering HIS food to HIS customers. Which I’ll never do for ROLL UP again. I take my job seriously and treat every delivery with the utmost respect and don’t deserve to be thrown under the bus for cold food being delivered…I’ll say it again, if the food is cold from a 15-20 min drive (max) THAT IS NOT ON A DELIVERY DRIVER IT’S ON THE RESTAURANT.
I have the receipt of purchase if the owner would like proof that this story is true, there’s a reason I have visited once and once only. I am a breakfast burrito lover and have never been back for theirs and here’s why….
When I visited the Widedield location a few months ago I was stoked because I had waited forever to try the famous breakfast burritos from the rollup food truck. My experience was far from what I expected it would be. I was the only person in the restaurant when I arrived and was never greeted, I had to ask for permission to place my order as I stood there for five minutes without a word being said to me.
When the food was handed to me I noticed it was only lukewarm compared to how hot I’m used to my breakfast burritos being when I order out, but I can deal with a lack luster temp on food it’s not a big enough deal to BASH a company.
What I can’t deal with was the flavorless breakfast I didn’t even finish (never happens, love breakfast burritos). I have only had 3 breakfast burritos in my life that were made with frozen, stale french fries and every time has been a gut punch.
This time was no exception.
I would’ve never shared my experience had the owner not been so reckless with how he speaks of people trying to earn a living. Respect and grace will take you MUCH FARTHER in this business.
IF YOUR INTENTION WASN’T TO PLACE BLAME ON THE DELIVERY DRIVERS, YOU SHOULDN’T HAVE REFERENCED THE DELIVERY DRIVERS IN YOUR MAIN POST AND ON EACH...
Read moreI used to love this place and happy to support a small business when they first opened. I sadly don't think I will be going back. The breakfast burrito and California burrito were cold and the meat was flavorless. I really liked the green chili sauce I think it is called that was amazing. I love California burritos and eat them everywhere and so I was sad about the burrito not being good. Walking into the restaurant I felt unwelcome and that I was bothering them to get food. Overall just a bad experience. I hope all the best for them Edit: I came in today actually and it was not busy. You don't have to comment in such a condescending manner to anyone that leaves a bad review, or gives any feedback. But thank you 😊 I appreciate you trying but an actual apology goes a long way. I was actually scared to even leave a bad review because i saw all the comments but I did anyway because people looking at reviews need to know Edit 2: I am disappointed to see that my feedback has been met with such offense. As a customer who has had a negative experience with your services, I believe it is important to share my honest feedback in order to help improve the quality of your business (isn’t that what reviews are for) While I understand that receiving negative reviews can be challenging responding in a disrespectful manner is not the appropriate way to address customer concerns (only looks bad on your business) It is crucial for businesses to take feedback seriously and use it as an opportunity for growth and improvement. I hope that in the future, you will consider handling customer feedback with more professionalism. Constructive criticism is valuable for any business looking to succeed and provide excellent service to...
