What a wonderful experience! I went here with 2 friends, my husband, and my son. I used to live in Sedro, and I've experienced some very dicey, racist, and hateful of "different folks" situations in my years there. I came on vacation (North Cascades NP) this time. Two black people, a Hispanic, a white girl dressed like a day-glo freak right out of Electric Kool-Aid Acid Tests, and a surly teen boy in all black walk into a small town museum in the mountains.... And have a great time! They were so welcoming and friendly! The museum was pristine and we learned a lot about the building of the dams, the history of Sedro, and we saw cool relics! The people were so kind, the gift shop has adorable shirts. I definitely recommend! Drop in, show these folks some love, and learn a thing...

Entry fee is donation so you decide what you want to pay, if anything. Very friendly staff and a nice little gift store area. They also have some interesting steam donkeys outside.
