The Bull Pen Sports Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Sedro-Woolley

I am not one to leave reviews However, I have never been treated so awfully by a restaurant/bar in my life. I attempted to go have one drink at this location. I entered the building with my service dog and was given a cider. I sat down awaiting my guest and a server aggressively came up to me and let me know dogs are not allowed. I let her know that my dog was a service animal and she let me know that she didn’t care and that her manager does not allow any dogs in their building even if they are service animals. I attempted to let her know that I believed this was illegal and she said it wasn’t. She ripped my drink away and said I can stay if my dog leaves otherwise if we didn’t leave she would have to call the cops. I responded if that’s what she needed to do she could. The cops arrived and we’re very calm and understanding towards but they did ask me to leave. Under the ADA it is illegal to discriminate against disabilities. My service dog was not causing any harm or distraction and was there to do her job. This was extremely humiliating and stressful. Food is decent, we’ve been in person a few times but mostly order to-go. That being said, EVERY TIME!!!!!!!!!!!! we order a French dip or a burger dip they either forget the au jus completely, or like most recent both containers barely had enough for half the sandwich. Also (kind of a given considering it’s a to-go order) the fries aren’t the best as much as the missing au jus happens so that being said we literally live maybe 5min away and they really shouldn’t be soft n soggy by the time they get here. Also it’s 5 min so we’re there on time 9x out of 10 (the person picking it up left immediately after ordering this time), it’s been a while since we’ve been there for these reasons and now not sure we’ll ever go back. Haven’t been in person for even longer so couldn’t tell you how it would be at the restaurant, but at least you’re there so they can fix it if so. I went here last weekend on a Friday night the mixed drinks are expensive I got a Washington Apple costed me $9.75 per drink , and a whiskey sour is $5.50 and the cops literally wait for you to get into your car so they can do a sobriety test on you. Beware do not drink and then think you will drive home later. I seen someone get arrested for just starting his car because he'd been drinking. I also noticed people being over served alchohol in my opinion. Please BullPen work on refusing any more alchohol to those who are clearly too drunk. The snack menu was spendy too. Just for Jalepenos poppers was more than a medium sized meal at McDonald's. I wish a McDonald's would of been closer lol. I won't want to ever go back to this establishment on the weekend.
