Apothecary Coffee — Restaurant in Sedro-Woolley

For the most part, the food is good but unfortunately the service can be hit or miss. The coffee shop shares a drive thru window with the attached pharmacy and the sensor for the drive thru is quite glitchy. There have been multiple occasions where the sensor wouldn't detect my car as I sat at the drive thru window and I would eventually need to pull out and park to pick up my order in the shop. The walk-in service is normally decent but that wasn't the case this morning. After waiting at the drive thru window and not receiving service, I parked and walked in to pick up my order but found out that they hadn't started working on it yet (I arrived five minutes after my pick up order time). And when I got home with the order, I realized that both of my double-egg breakfast sandwiches only had one egg patty each. It's not the end of the world, but just frustrating that the order wasn't completed correctly after waiting longer than expected for it and not being able to use...

This is second time we have stopped while traveling around the area. Went out of our way today to go and take our daughter and her husband. We did try a couple of new things that we didn’t like as much. The specials for July- WOW, which is white on white sounded good. One iced, with almond milk and one hot regular. The hot was better than iced. I’ve never had this type of drink and wouldn’t get it again. The iced wasn’t very good and hot was slightly better. The apothecary latte my husband had was good. The girl working was awesome and did remake the iced, but it wasn’t much better. I think this is a preferred taste and not for us. Lovely...

There is truly a reason this place has 5 stars. We came on the 4th of July and the line was deep like 20 people. The efficiency and speed at which the three ladies performed was nothing short of a production on Broadway and with a smile to boot. Service 10 out of 10. The pastries and other food was fresh delicious and absolutely excellent. The coffee was an epic blend of perfection as well. I don't think you could get any better. My wife was amazed and that says a lot. Highly recommend and this is my go to anytime I come through from now on. Way to go ladies, you...
