EDIT: So after they replied, Ive felt compelled to edit my response. What I meant by there was "no other appointments that day" was that when I arrived early, I COULD have scheduled a 2:30, 3:00, 3:30 or a 4:00PM appointment. meaning, there was OPEN availability from when I arrived online, to beyond my appointment. Thinking that is pretty safe to say that they would be able to bump my 4:30 appointment up to the 2:30 time slot. But in the end, I witnessed appointments that were scheduled after me.. come and go. and I left with my results at my regular allotted: despite the pharmacist setting the expectation that I would only be waiting about an hour. When you pay $250 and it says online "results in 30" - You'd expect 30. just my thoughts.

Not rapid when our test results came back 2 hours later. We drove up from Seattle, on our way to Canada. We were early for our test but checked online prior to arriving and there was no other appointments that day. The woman working said we would get our results back in an hour because they had to re-do someone else’s. Which was fine, we just hung out in the parking lot.. when we didn’t get the call after an hour we drove back around and she said soon… soon was another hour away. $250 for a rapid test, we got basically at our original scheduled time. 50% our fault for assuming 50% theirs for not setting a realistic expectation when we asked what the likelihood was for...

We just came from Schaffner Pharmacy. We received our second COVID vaccine. Such kindness, such thoughtfulness. Vaccine appointments scheduled every 5 minutes, no waiting, no lines. We have had experiences at two other vaccination sites, where large numbers of people are scheduled for an hour time frame. The drive through experience involved waiting in a line, but the people directing traffic were kind and careful. In contrast, a different pharmacy, multiple people were scheduled to arrive at he same time. A confusing, chaotic, and crowded situation within the pharmacy was the result.

Mount Vernon health department referred us for vaccine, claiming they had a reputation for being “community oriented and accommodating”. As a HOMEBOUND family, it was important for us to have minimal contact. Not being very computer literate, I was unable to navigate the appointment setting portion of their website. (It kept saying there were no appointments available ). I called the phone number and the lady that answered was super helpful and signed me up online herself, while I gave her the information on the telephone. Not only did they get us in right away, but they went above and beyond and came out to the vehicle so that we did not have to go inside. It renewed my feelings of enchantment for small towns. Cannot thank them enough. We will definitely return...
