Sedro Woolley Skatepark — Attraction in Sedro-Woolley

Well thanks to the park rules bikes are not aloud here, so don't waste your time fellow riders #bikelife. Got about 20 minutes in before the local police rudely kicked us out of the park, so if you're going to give it a go just be aware you will get booted at some point. You make the rules, so that's on you. I am salty about this one, because there are few parks and this one was promising.

Interesting they claim that pegs damage parks. They even claim their is evidence to support this. My bars have plastic bar ends, I run plastic pegs, pedals are made of plastic, tires are rubber, seat is leather. If I remember correctly, skate boards have metal trucks, seems as though that would mess up some coping. Oh and when these guys go down that board becomes a missile flying across the park.

It's a nice place to go to. It has a volley ball area with net, a basketball court, a softball feild, and of course the skate area. One major downside to this place is kids like to hang out in the men's and women's bathrooms and smoke (weed) and drink alcohol. This is a constant problem and people pulling up to buy drugs in the parking lot. The kids have the whole park to hang out but they're all in front of the bathrooms drinking and drugging. They also like to do their "activities" in the announcers outlook at the softball field. I've found empty jars of Marijuana and empty cans of malt liquor and dirty underwear up in there. Wish the police would do more to stop the illegal activities, especially since the police station is literally next to it. It's a shame they don't police it more when they're next door sitting in...

Water fountain needs a bowl around it to not get concrete all wet. Slipping hazard. Kids on foot and bikes are a common problem even with signs. Lights should stay on untill 11 also one light should turn off 5 minutes before to warn a person's before shutting off very dangerous. Top Edges of ramps needs clear coat painted to save the edge and not sticky. Whole park needs power washed. I will do the work and get a free crew to help if the city supplys the tools...
