Now that I’ve been here; I am extremely concerned about how they have so many good reviews. I had checked them out before on Trip Advisor, Google and Yelp. I have done a ropes course and zip line before so am fully aware of what a safe place is versus this unsafe place is and requires. The equipment only wraps around your waist and legs while it should go over your shoulders and chest as well. I was used to a 3 point safety system. The pieces of equipment were not uniform and make shift. They told us if we happen to flip we will fall to the ground. We noticed very quickly at least 2 platforms were wobbly. They said 3 people could be on at a time, no way they are so small. The course was marked with duck tape and some areas showed the wrong color. You were told not to step on a wire with red duck tape or the entire system could fall. You could get caught up in the ropes or wire on the platforms so you must be agile to manage your way around it. I had 4 teenagers with me who were wondering which way next and had questions. There was 1 person working who was on his phone the entire time and didn’t guide us unless we would yell out a question. Some ropes were fraying, a board was broken. It wasn’t fun at all. All it felt like was you were walking across a tight rope. I felt like I was in a third world country were safety is not a priority. Can’t believe this place exists right in...
Read moreI am not one to go out of my way to give bad reviews but I was extremely upset with the service I received here. To start off, this course and what you have to do when climbing through it is very hard, even at the lowest level. But one of our guides Justin talked to us as if we were completely incompetent every single time we asked him a question. As if us being safe was an inconvenience to him. Then as my 10 year old sister was rightfully terrified climbing through the course, it was another inconvenience for the workers to help her. There were multiple times I saw the workers sitting around smoking cigarettes rather than helping anyone through the course. Then, as one worker is helping someone else, the other was completely unharnessed talking to a girl as my 10 year old sister was on the verge of tears and wanted help to exit the course. I had to completely turn around from the part I was at and do the course backwards to help her get off safely. We both almost fell multiple times while I helped her Bc we were forced on a platform only made for 1. Not to mention we were both beginners. This all happened while one worker was smoking a cigarette and flirting with a girl. Of course we find out that we are the last group of the day and their cars sped past us before we even left. I would give 0...
Read moreWe weren't sure what to expect when we bought our tickets- we were a bit nervous that it was an attraction for kids but we (ages 23 and 24) had a ton of fun! As soon as we got there, Juan harnessed us up, taught us how to safely navigate the course, and had us demonstrate that we understood how to use the carabiners and zip line attachment.
The course was very challenging and fun, we were definitely sore the next day! There are two main levels, the upper level is great for adults and might be too challenging for younger kids. In fact, I'm 5'10 and had trouble clipping to a few of the upper level wires even on my tip toes.
It was especially great because it was self guided and you could navigate the course at your own leisure without feeling like the guides were babysitting you. They were there for safety and support, but let you do as you please.
It's a lot more obstacles and climbing than zip lining, so if you're looking to to just zip line, I'd recommend going on a dedicated zip line tour.
I'd go everyday of our vacation if it were up to me - we had a blast! I came out with a few bruises, but every one of them was worth the fun we had.
Pro tip: book on groupon and you'll save a...
