We decided to stop at this Popeyes location after driving over 5 hours from home. Biggest mistake ever. Spent $47 on what we were told was fresh chicken. Arrived at the hotel down the street only to find that the chicken was very dry and very hard to swallow. Each one of us (4 people) had a different piece and each piece was equally as dry and cold. Macaroni was also very disappointing, had a gummy texture… Returned to the store after speaking on the phone with the person who I thought was the store manager(Dave) but arrived and realized that I had called the wrong location.
When I got there I saw the only male in the store head towards the back as I started explaining my reason for returning. Expressed that the food was very hard to eat and was told that I would have to speak to the manager (Chris). He came and immediately began examining the chicken and then asked what was wrong. I told him that I had accidentally called the wrong location but that the manager had offered to drop some fresh chicken to replace my 12 piece and Chris then started recounting the chicken in the box and said that he would only be able to replace what he could see, 8/9 pieces of chicken. Didn’t offer to drop some fresh ones, just replace with the several dozen that were sitting up on the shelves. I accepted his offer being that at this point I was not only getting a negative vibe from him, but also his workers. Especially the lady at the register. Seemed like I was just there bothering them.
I also asked that they replace the macaroni with Cajun rice and he agreed to do that for me. Biscuits were also very dry too but I forgot to bring those along and wouldn’t dare to ask if he would mind replacing those as well. In all I really wish that we had gone to the other location (Dave’s in Pigeon Forge) because I feel like it would’ve been a totally...
Read moreTonight we went to the Sevierville Popeyes to get dinner. We have worked a long day and decided to go through the drive thru. We waited for approximately 22 minutes to place our order since there were a few other cars ahead of us. When we finally got to the speaker to order, the guy told us that they just took the last order for the night!! Needless to say we were disappointed to say the least. THE FOLLOWING IS WHERE YOU HAVE LOST OR BUSINESS GOING FORWARD... I called to speak to the manager. I told him what just happened and that we didn’t appreciate waiting for 22 minutes just to be told they couldn’t take our order. I asked for the Managers name and he wouldn’t give it to me. He actually asked me who was asking. Umm duh, it’s the customer complaining to you sir.. I have been a General Manager for over 10 years. If a customer ask for you name, you don’t question them. You just give them you name. Aside from that the manger said that they already tagged the last car and couldn’t take our order. Well why the heck couldn’t you send one of you team members out to tell us and the other 4 cars behind us that you were no longer taking order? It’s not like your drive thru is a fast one. NOPE, instead we wasted 22 minutes. I would like to point out that I visit this location at least 3 times a week and I buy all my employees food for lunch there once every week. NOT NO MORE, with a manger like that running this place. Again he didn’t give me his name, but it was on 5/29/2020 @ 9:12pm and google says your open till 10pm. Get it...
Read moreWe ordered our food and the young lady who had no idea what she was doing, not her fault just no experience, first day she said. Ordered several things by accident on our order. When I asked for my money back which I paid in cash the manager tells me he can’t give me my money back In cash it must go on a card, his system won’t allow it( lie number 1). So after a few words I put my card in the slot and he presses refund. I just happen to see real fast the amount that was much lower than I was charged for the items. When I asked why he gave me less he had no response ( lie number 2)then refused to pay me the rest, he stole from me. The manager and the store were thief’s. I got mad and then just ate my food that was also not correct but I was to mad to argue at this point. The manager then came to my family after it was over and asked us to leave because they were closing and needed to clean (lie 3) then when I questioned that he said well it’s because he said I cussed him out. (Lie number 4) No cuss words ever came out of my mouth, I did call him a liar and thief, which he is. I’m sure he pocketed the rest of the money at the end of the day. Popeyes should be ashamed to employ him and the others who were backing him up on not giving me my money back. If they do that several times a day they take home a pocket full. Shame...
