Lions Park — Attraction in Shakopee

Great place for a large family hangout. Plenty of space to roam around, lots of playground equipment for the kids to enjoy and have a blast. We had a family reunion with about 30 people and the covered shelter was an absolute blessing. Lots of tables for everyone to feel comfortable and not cramped and a great view of the playground to keep an eye on the kiddos while adults were socializing. I mainly come to this park to play disc golf. It’s great for a casual game when you don’t feel like trekking through brush or searching for discs in tall grass. It’s not the most technical course but offers a nice mix of holes with a couple water shots all spanning a well-kept, mowed park setting. Been going here since a kid, they updated the park a couple years back so it's pretty nice now. No woodchips, it's that bouncy, tire like material. If you're into Frisbee Golf there's a nice course for ya that wraps around the whole park. Half bball court, grills if you want to BBQ, tennis courts & a gated Waterpark for the summer.
