Shakopee Skate Park — Attraction in Shakopee

The City of Shakopee only cared about the size of their skatepark and not the quality of the skatepark and it shows. I tried to work with the city multiple times, but they just didn't understand that maximum square footage is not the answer.

The park has a really nice bowl corner, but they put a manual pad right in the middle of one of the walls. They have a nice C Ledge, but they made it really hard to skate due to how close it is to the 1/4 pipe. The thing people like the most about this park is the kicker to manual pad and it is very unique and what is probably work going to this park for.

Most of the park was designed by a rollerblader, so it just doesn't work. I have never seen a single rollerblader at this park or any other park in the past 15 years.

This skatepark is a park skaters dream. It’s got a beautiful quarter ramp and spine plus a really nice manual pad/ledge. The only issue with it is the amount of scooter kids on it but tbh they’re kinda steezy...
