Price hikes for the soon-to-be-reopened park make this $330 for a resident family season pass (unlimited visits) and $480 for non-resident family season pass (unlimited visits). ValleyFair is $89/person for a season pass (5 and under are free) (i.e. family of 4 is $356), so waterpark + theme park + fall daytime admission + parking for $26 more, and that’s for anyone, resident of Shakopee or not.
Add to that the fact that when we asked at the community center on March 19, 2025, if they offer the community center + sandventure discounted rate, we were told that it is not available.
Punch cards and daily rates have similar increases of double+ cost.
An aside: punch cards are a bad joke of a deal. They save you 5 cents per visit (or 50 cents on 10 visits) 🤔. If you miss one of your ten visits, you lose all of your “savings” plus $15.

Read moreMe my wife and kids went there on 7-26-23. The place was pretty cool. Warm water, water slides and a diving board. Every 2 hours they have a safety break where everyone has to get out of the water. I remember that being pretty normal when I use to lifeguard at pools. During that break I noticed the life guards all run over towards the water slides and diving board. Not a single one checked the pool for safety measures which I thought was weird. I also noticed the life guards running in areas where they told people not to run. They also went down the slides 3 at a time after they told kids not to do that same thing earlier. Im guessing rules only apply to the public and not the life guards. The safety break really just looked like lifeguard...
Read moreLifeguards and staff were very rude. Opened my bag without permission because I set it on the counter to pay. Saw I had a lunchable and ran in front of me to prevent me from going in until I returned it to my car. The lifeguards are always yelling and blowing their whistles, no one knew what was going on and it was constant. The only decent slide was closed down but we were still charged $16 per person which is the most expensive waterpark around. They don’t offer any seating, the slides are playground equipment not true water slides. The only thing I enjoyed was the shake, that was delicious. We won’t be going back. Eagan, Apple Valley and Faribault offer way better water parks at a much cheaper rate with much...
