I used to love going here. When I was pregnant with my twin girls I thought this place was the best to get good clothes for cheaper. Until I started coming back after they were born to take clothes in to sell. Some things were brand new from my baby shower never worn because kids grow so fast Iâd bring in a whole garbage bag of clothes theyâd take one outfit and offer a $1. Itâs not worth the hassle. And I used to think the staff was really friendly until recently. My girls were staring solid foods but because they were premature they canât sit up yet. So I looked into Bumbos. I purchased 2 because I have TWINS. And every time I put them in those things they cried and screamed. They hated them. Their feet turned purple I think their thighs are too big for it and some babies the bumbo doesnât work. So it was LESS then 7 days from when I purchased these seats I cleaned them up. The receipt says can return within 7 days with tags & receipt. I had both. My husband returned them along with a bag of clothes to be sold. He said everything went fine with the bumbo return with a gentleman that worked there. I was relieved because I felt bad but these seats just didnât work for the girls and when you have twins every $ counts. He dropped of the clothes and came back later that day. However, when he came back a lady was there and said âyou were the one with the bumbos? Yeah your clothes have stains and we wonât take any of themâ. Oh I was upset. She was hurt because I returned the bumbos. I work very hard to make sure my girls clothes do not have stains. And previously they had NO problem with my clothes. And in fact Iâve purchased some clothes there with stains! This lady was just hurt that I returned the bumbos. Well Iâm sorry but if you donât want things returned donât allow returns. Your receipt says within 7 days returns are allowed. When my husband got home I went through the bag of clothes, there was 1 onesie with a SLIGHT very FAINT stain on the INSIDE. And it was a dark onesie so you canât see it from the front. And the clothes were clean. Iâm sorry but if this is how you treat people it is VERY unprofessional. Very displeased and I wish my husband could remember that ladyâs name. Not a great way to treat customers who are honest and used to love shopping at your store. I will never...
Read moremy girlfriend is an employee who currently works at this location, and she states "We conduct our buy prosses by the hour. We usually say it takes at least an hour per buy. Our goal for buys is 45/day. Hence the piles of boxes to go through. We get people bringing in multiple big boxes or bags of stuff for there buys, and those take us longer to go through. We always quote for the end of the day. Weather it actually takes that long is dependent on how busy we are, because we are also retail and we sell clothes. We buy usually for quality. If we find holes, or an item is majorly stained or out of style, we pass on it, and we look closely at everything. Our buys go directly from the buy counter to the sales floor so we want everything we do purchase from customers to be in the best possible shape. Regardless of how long it actually takes to go through our customers buys, we always text them when we are done with their buy. They just have to worry about picking up their passes and getting paid for the stuff we do take. NO one at this location EVER steals! What we pay out to our customers is roughly a third of what we price the items at. As I said before how we do price these items is based on condition, weather or not their dated, and based on how others retail it before it's even purchased for the first time. If an item comes with it's old tags we will NOT price those items at the old tag's price, as they are being purchased for the second or third time. I apologize if this is an inconvenience to anybody. But we also relay this information in store. It's not a mystery. Thank you for your business. : )"
All of this being said, you all need to calm the heck down. If you don't like the prosses then there's the door, you can just leave and...
Read moreI have been selling stuff here for years. Nothing but name brand, all of a sudden I noticed I have been getting less and less per item. The more I bring in, the less money I would get. Or so I thought. I have been buying and selling clothes as a side job, which consumes alot of time, gas &money. Anyways, the last time the amount was so low that I had them print out a receipt. I had 16 pairs of Athleta pants alone which they gave me $2.55 a pair, (which before I was getting 4-6) they sell them for $12.00-$18.00 a pair. So I am in there tonight looking at that certain size to see if they had sold. I found 2 of the 16 which were priced at $16 each. So they obviously didn't have a hard time selling them. So i get not even $40 and they are making $256? And that was just the Athleta pants, not including all the Nike, under Armour. So I started to pay close attention and ear hustled what they offered other people. They were getting the same amount for their cat and Jack stuff which they price at around $4.50. I am just disgusted. So tonight I noticed it wasn't as bad as the last 5 times I got ripped off, and figured out the amount you get depends on the employee. I supply alot of their great inventory that these other good reviews are talking about. I must annoy certain employees because I'm sure it's alot of work because the amount they take in. There are 2 employees I would only recommend to do your buys. Well actually 1 because one of them it was her last day, which I don't know what they are going to do without her. She actually seemed to enjoy her Job, but the other one is also phenomenal, i believe her name is Mitsy. You would think they would treat the people who help make their store thrive alot better...
