Five Guys — Restaurant in Shakopee

We LOVE Five Guys and for years we have gone to the Eden Prairie location, so, when we finally got one in Shakopee we were lined up to get some burgers! And I have to say, it's 80% as good as the EP location was... which is still better than almost any other burger place... especially smash burger!! ICK!!

So, here's the issue, THE FRIES!!! We like them crispy, as anyone with half a taste bud does! Right? So, at the EP five guys and anywhere else I go, I always ask for them to be cooked a little longer so they get that perfect, non soggy, crunch that a fry should have!!! And at EP, not an issue.... they oblige and we are all happy! But for some reason at Shakopee they refuse to do this for anyone... they have weird excuses like they can't do it, or the fryer won't let them... or my personal favorite "we make them perfect for you"... whatever that means...

All I'm saying is it doesn't take a genius or a engineer to leave the fry basket in the grease an extra minute... I am willing to show them how if they need me to also!

And the burgers there, the bacon is not quite as good as EP.... but the fries... get it together five...

I went in with my husband and we ordered 2 regular hamburgers for each of us. (4 total) Even though each burger has 2 patties, we don't order fries and we were super hungry. The burgers were good and quite juicy, but I'm wondering if that's because they have a high fat content.

I wish they had more of a condiment area because I ordered mine with mustard and catsup, but there was very little of each. I ordered with onions, but there were not that many. I ended up getting some on the side, which was better. The bun is a bit compressed and pasty once you start eating it. I've had these before and they were good, but tonight was different.

The people were nice, even the cook staff. My only complaint was that as we were eating, the cashier was doing some side work before she left and was sweeping the floor near us. I really hate that because even though she was sweeping slowly, there tend to be dirt particles in the air while they sweep.

I'd say for the value...$31. for 4 burgers and 2 people, I'd rather go have a burger that includes fries for about the same price or a...

Took my mother, my 2 kids, & my 3 nieces/nephew here tonight, and I was very happy with our experience! We had a friendly employee at the order counter who was very new to her job, but she did very well in handling our large order. Her manager was hands-on close by, & showed extra care & attention to everything happening - not only our order but others' orders as well.

We stayed there to eat & had a wonderful time. Everyone was very happy with their food order & we LOVED how they dump what seems like a ton of extra fries in your bag. The kids loved making a drawing & putting it up on the board too!

This was a MUCH better experience than I had at a different nearby Five Guys franchise... We will definitely come back to this location again the next time we are in the mood for a...
