I had been wanting to get Microblading done for quite some time, but never pulled the trigger. I had seen some horrifying before and after pics and I couldn’t imagine somebody doing that to another individual! My niece told me about powder brows, which would be better for me since I have very sparse, light brows and that it would be a softer look overall. I had my doubts going in, but I wanted to try it and I am so very glad that I did. This is a field where the person applying the PMU should have a creative & artistic touch. It’s not a cookie cutter application, therefore it’s not a one size fits-all. This is her business so she wants to get it right the first time and is a perfectionist. She is knowledgeable, talented, and very straightforward. She answers any and all questions you may have about the process and will even educate you on other procedures you may be interested in. I love the laid-back atmosphere of her space as well as the vibe I get when I go there. She makes the space comfortable for her clients, but you can tell there’s a lot of hard work, preparation & training that goes into this discipline that happens behind-the-scenes. Additionally, she trains other individuals to become PMU artists! Bottom line: I am SOOO pleased with how my brows turned out. They actually look better than they did when I was younger! I had a combo brow done about two years ago (microblade and powder) and it was terribly faded and ashy. Unfortunately the artist who did my brows moved out of the area… I reached out to Sara on the recommendation of the artist who had done my brows the first time. Sara was willing to work with me even though another artist had already touched my brows! I was stoked to get my brows fixed. When I arrived, she performed a very professional consultation and expressed concern for how my skin had taken to the microblading (held onto the pigment, blurred, turned ashy/grey). She was honest and open that while she could make my brows better for about a year, I was not a great candidate for her services and that I truly should never have been a candidate for microblading. I am so appreciative to Sara for being honest and not having me waste hundreds of dollars on a service that would not last. Had my first microblading with Sara on 8/4/17, I was so happy the black brows looked perfect and matching with my hair color at that time and I didn’t have to draw them everyday. Then the black faded a little so I contacted Sara to get them touched up on 6/20/18 but I haven’t touched up again this year in 2019 because the color faded and left my both brows RED! I wasn’t sure what ink she used but my skin has stain like when you have brows tattooed and after sometimes they turn to blue/purple brows, mine just turn RED and the redness makes my face look so irritated without makeup. Somehow I can’t post pictures to show the redness, but you have to see them in person when I don’t have any makeup on. My man is so mad asking what did I do to my brows, I regret for doing microblading, and I definitely won’t go back to her....
