We had our elopement ceremony on July 22nd, 2021 at 6pm- which, in itself, was a lovely accommodation considering we wanted a ceremony later in the evening as opposed to the normal 1pm ceremony that’s offered for elopements. The venue was beautiful. Nicole was so helpful in answering all of my questions prior to the event, we felt really grateful. However, I look back on my wedding day and I honestly cringe- and no bride ever wants to feel that way. I feel like a lot of the attention to detail we previously experienced was lost on my wedding day. I was under the impression that Nicole would be there to help coordinate things, but I can truthfully say I only saw her twice- once before the ceremony began, and once when she was telling me she was leaving for the night.

I honestly expected a lot more instruction and direction considering this was both of our first- and hopefully only- weddings. We had no idea what we were doing. We walked away from the pastor after the ceremony and just stood around, not having any clue what to do. It was super embarrassing. We recovered a little, thanks to our photographer (a close friend of ours) who immediately noticed how awkward we felt and swept us away to begin photos. We didn’t know what to do with our guests during the photos. We were told they would be directed into the carriage house by Nicole while we took couples photos but no one directed us. My guests sat/stood around just watching us. It was such an awkward situation.

Once the photos were done, Nicole showed up to let us know we could finally go into the carriage house and do the champagne toast and cut our cake. She asked if we needed help pouring drinks, which I thought sounded funny and told her no, we could handle it. To that, she said “okay well I’m leaving but so-and-so will be here if you have any questions”. I was shocked. We didn’t need help, but I expected someone to be there in case we had any questions- which we did. I wanted to take the leftovers of our cake home with us to eat on our first anniversary but we couldn’t find anyone to help us. To say we were disappointed was an understatement. I feel heartbroken that we won’t be able to have that small tradition just because we chose to elope (which we only did so because we found out we have to spend $20,000 on in-vitro fertilization to have a baby- and we chose to have a baby over a fancy wedding).

Please don’t get me wrong- we loved the venue. Our stay was opulent. The bed was so comfortable, breakfast was delicious, everything was beautiful. We will be returning for our anniversary next year. I simply wanted to make our feelings known. I don’t know if maybe it was a one-off situation because of the lateness of the ceremony, but I hope no other brides left feeling the way we did just because we didn’t spend thousands of dollars on a...

I called to schedule someone a spall day. The first person I talk to was very nice and polite. I did not catch their name. I explained to her then, I would like to schedule a spa day for sometime next week she told me that she would have to transfer me to guest services to get that schedule and they better answer my questions as well. She then redirected me to guest services and the lady I was transferred to seemed very annoyed that I didn’t know all the packages and I was trying to ask which package would be best for my friend who is getting back from military training And wanted to see what she would recommend I was then told that I needed to look at the website and figure out what package I wanted to get them and then to call back. I explained to her that I wanted a full spa day for my friend and then again told her that I wasn’t exactly sure what would be best and if she could explain the packages a little better to me she got extremely annoyed and then hung up on me which is why I’m leaving three star review as I thought it was very unprofessional, especially since I’m scheduling almost a $600 package for my friend I figured out after reading on the website. What in my opinion would be a good package for my friend and then called back and was greeted by Taylor. Who was extremely nice an answer every single question I had and promptly scheduled my friend for an appointment and went ahead and took payment my friend has always wanted to have a spa day here and after talking to the second lady, I was pretty disappointed it was expecting the call back and get the same treat and if that was the case, I would’ve taken my $600 elsewhere My friend has yet to get her massage as it is scheduled for next week. I will ask her how everything was. And update my review if it Wasn’t for Taylor who answered my call the second time and answered all my questions I would be leaving a one star review and taking my money elsewhere thank you Taylor...

From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel pampered. The manager Anthony gave us an incredibly charming and fascinating tour- honestly the highlight of the trip for me. It's clear that the staff, and Anthony in particular, take pride in the level of service offered. The spa is delightful! We made full use of the Finnish and wet saunas, which are available anytime to overnight guests. Our room was impeccably furnished, clean, and cozy. We stayed in the Tropical Nights room, which was unique because the jacuzzi tub is in the room. We could enjoy the fire while we soaked. It was perfect! Breakfast was delicious and included in our overnight stay. We enjoyed our stay so thoroughly that we hope to make it a new...
