If I could choose zero stars I would. My family and I walked in at 8 pm. This is a whole hour before the restaurant is scheduled to close. $43 paid before seeing the buffet looks terrible . I was told if there was anything I wanted prepared fresh because it was empty that I could "ask my server." Thinking "ok it wont be that bad to wait a little" but it seemed as if they were more interested in getting ready to close up than taking care of the customers since our server placed only our drinks on the table , not even silverware and walked away. As I was trying to ask him if we could have sweet & sour sauce and general tsos, he walked away from me before I even said general tsos then lazily brought a small of sweet and sour container to me cold . If he didn't walk away from me rudely he could have at least confirmed if the things we wanted were being prepared. I was so upset I had an outburst and asked other customers if they felt the same way, they agreed.... out loud. Then the same young woman who told me i can request fresh things made from my unattentive server had the nerve to argue with me . Saying he was doing his job. Lazy ,disgusting ,...
Read moreI have been coming to this restaurant for a really long time and have seen it go through three different owners and have seen the restaurant change interior and menu with it. When Lee took over the restaurant during COVID he immediately opened back up as soon as it was safe and I was there probably opening day. The food was definitely new and improved with a lot of home-cooked flare on the dishes I was used to. I got to know the owner Lee after eating there several times and came to find overtime that he really enjoyed what he was doing and creating the food. The buffet is kept pretty well stocked and definitely has a lot of spectacular dishes on it. The restaurant is always clean and the food is always fresh. Take out here is always extremely quick with good portions and I've never been disappointed. This is definitely one of my go-to restaurants on any day of any week anytime of the year. I genuinely really enjoy eating here and I really love the food especially the dumplings and their sauce which I know Lee takes...
Read moreI grew up coming to this Main Moon location often, and now live out of town, so my husband and I decided while we were in town to get some good old buffet Chinese food at Main Moon this evening. We arrived around 7 on a Friday night, and were charged almost $40 for two adults and a child to eat dinner. Not a big deal if there was actually a decent amount of food on the buffet. Half of the pans here are empty and not being refilled at all. If you’re going to charge patrons dinner prices, at least have a fully stocked buffet with hot food. Most of the food that is available to eat is cold and hard. It has been sitting out - probably since lunch. This is actually the first time I’ve been here that this has occurred. Usually, the food is hot and the pans are frequently being filled with fresh food. Also, the dessert table is nearly empty. No ice cream at all, and very watery pudding that has likely been sitting out at room temperature for hours. I think we will choose another...
