This is a really neat park that successfully added accessibility without sacrificing the fun of the park, in fact, I feel it enhances it. Everything is wider to the point that even an adult can easily traverse most of the obstacles. Kids aren't running into each other as often on the catwalks. There is a lot to do that I have never seen at other children's parks, such as music stations or objects for visual play. Entire park is surfaced with a material that mitigates injuries if someone falls. There are handrails everywhere.
If I were to suggest improvements, it would be nice if there was a gate that could be closed so you did not need to worry about younger children wandering out when they get out of sight which happens...
Read moreI've driven by this park many in the winter and always wanted to stop. Today we were walking the Evergreen Park trails and when we left we drove past this playground. Both my boys 3 and 4 screamed to stop. Very clean, well taken care of equipment. Bathrooms were spotless. Lots of stuff for kids if all ages to do. Easy to socially distance as well since the park is so big. We could have spent more time here but we were off to the splash pad. Highly recommend this place. The playground itself is fenced in with only one entry/exit. There is a small conrer within view of the playground entrance for smokers.
