2 Amigos Restaurant — Restaurant in Sheboygan

Better than all the other Mexican fast good places in Sheboygan but it's still only ok at best. Been here a couple different times and ordered new things each time to try them out, the nachos were good but had hardly any meat on them as well as the chicken and steak burritos I had. For the prices you pay its debatable that you are getting a fair deal, If I pay 10 dollars for a chicken burrito and theres hardly any chicken in it am I getting what I payed for? The most disappointing thing was the rice, both times I got old rice that was just smashed and mixed into oblivion, there wasn't a single grain of rice intact it was all little pieces and bits of rice you can tell was stirred and mixed a hundred times. I've yet to find a decent Mexican restaurant in Sheboygan or areas nearby so far so the hunt...

My husband went there on his break and ordered Pazole. When the food came out he instantly could smell that something was wrong with the food. The meat had a sticky texture and it was black. There was 2 holes in the meat which had 2 maggots coming out. He asked for the receipt ( cause he had a soda) and she asked why he didn’t eat his food. He explained everything and it didn’t even phase her that the food was that bad she just pushed the food aside and asked if he wanted something else. I would think any restaurant would go above and beyond to guarantee that this would never happen again but she didn’t mind the old stinky meat with maggots that her customer received. I ordered the chicken chimichanga dinner and received 2 lightly browned baby burritos stuffed with chicken & cheese, a side of lettuce and tomatoes with microwaved rice and bland refried beans. As far as their food being compared to Tex-Mex, I, as a Texan will tell you, this was far from! We also ordered a steak torta. The steak was the most tender steak we'd ever tried but also the most flavorless. Beef tostadas were also ordered and they were more like tacos but at least flavorful. We most definitely wouldn't patronize this restaurant again when missing a taste of home.
