UPDATE: I listened to Cousin's response to contact the site they said to contact because they "take these issues seriously" and didn't hear back from anyone. Not too shocking but I thought I might get a response and have this made right so I could eat at Cousins again.
So, I moved to Sheboygan two years from Oregon and tried Cousins Subs for the first time and it was great. I went back in a few weeks later and had a big online order for kids and adults that were hanging out on the beach. I ordered 7 sandwiches and it was close to $80. I grabbed the bag and went back to the beach and we all opened our sandwiches and 60% of them were fine and the other 3 were inedible. The kids all got the philly cheesesteak sandwiches with no tomatoes or onions. It was literally just bread. Little to no meat and little to no cheese. I assume all their ingredients are portioned but there is 100% ZERO chance this was the amount they put on sandwiches because I have seen pictures online of customer Philly sandwiches and they do not look like the ones we got. All three teens who were starving didn't eat them and fed it to the seagulls because they said it was just eating dry bread and not appetizing at all. I contacted the store which did nothing so I contacted the corporate office with pictures and everything and no response. I told them mistakes happen but if they don't make it right I will never go back to a Cousins again(which they probably thought wouldn't happen and that I wouldbe mad for a bit but would eventually go back in a few months later). I eat sandwiches 2-3 times a week from sub shops for lunch and so do my kids so even though I am just one person I still pay a lot if money to the sandwich places I love and I was so excited to have a new place to go to in my new town. I never heard back from them and it has officially been two years and I have never stepped foot in a Cousin Subs since. I am not a Karen and work in a restaurant so I understand mistakes happen because I make them myself but all they had to do was make it right which is what you do in the service industry. I am writing this now 2 years later because I got a new phone and was going through pictures and saw the pictures of those disgusting sandwiches and realized it had been 2 years and 2 months already since that picture was taken! Wish you guys would have reached out to me because you'd have a loyal...
Read moreI stopped in for one of their delicious sandwiches. They have such fresh delicious bread and ingredients. I had a Classic sub with ham, turkey and cheese. It was so good, and so much better than the Sub* sandwiches I had been getting. Fresh stuff really does make the difference.
Also got the chili which was absolutely delicious! Most chili lacks flavor or is way too spicy. This had just the right amount of everything, and NO noodles (that's Chili Mac, which I don't like). 😕
Prices are reasonable and there's a nice sit down area if you choose to eat there. I took mine to go, and service was super quick.
I lived in the Chicago area for the last 15 years, and even though they had great sandwich places, Cousins Subs is still...
Read moreOrdered almost $60 worth, barely any meat instead of lettuce we got a boat load of onions on the tuna and the ham and cheese might as well been bread and cheese and a tomato. Also, it was the same with the salami skimping out on the meat, mayo, cheese, and lettuce that I'm surprised there was a loaf a bread and not a piece of cardboard rolled up. I had to do a double take to make sure I didn't order from Jimmy John's, but then again, it seems Jimmy John's can make better sandwiches now since cousins fell to the bottom. Such a disappointment. I guess I'm crossing cousins off for good, only Ella's,dinos, and jersey Mike's. You guys such take lessons from them. Maybe they can train you how to make sandwiches properly without...
