šØDO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION.šØ I purchased a Wet/dry shop vac here today at 6:15, I got home and opened it at 7:23 and when I opened it I realized it looked used and returned. I even took video and photo proof because Iāve heard of things like this happening but never to me and I couldnāt believe Walmart would resell something like that as new.
I immediately went back to the store when I got there, once I got there a heavier set lady had the most disgusting and rude attitude from the start she was asking the younger girl who was ringing up the refund āhow much was that forā, and making it seem like I was the problem. She said āwe have to have someone else ok itā.
She goes to a room with another gentleman⦠A few moments after that another gentleman named James goes into the room with them. After a few more minutes all 3 of them come out of the room, they place the vacuum on the floor, looking at it, & I even heard him say āyeah it does look like it was taped upā then James started telling me how theres no way that this wouldāve been put back on their floor if it was opened. I said the box was taped up and resealed even you just said it was retaped. He tried to backtrack, get defensive and deny ever saying it. He got defensive, called me a liar, saying he never said that (when I heard him say it not even 1 minute before), and told me the only way Iād get a refund was to ācall corporate.ā
No problem James! I will call corporate and Iāll tell them how you want to act a fool, lie, then call me a liar, get disrespectful and get 4 people involved to take care of a simple return. & they confirmed that the ACTUAL higher up manager will be reaching out to resolve this and apologize for Jamesās garbage behavior.
Clearly, someone on your team messed up returning the item, but somehow Iām supposed to eat a $90 loss on a used item that was sold as new? Absolutely not.
EITHER WAY, ILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THIS GARBAGE LOCATION EVER AGAIN DUE TO THIS SITUATION AND I RECOMMEND YOU...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have lived a mile from this store for the last 20 years. Until recently, I shopped here a couple times a week. Its a small store but was always fast, efficent, and friendly. A few years ago, I started noticing small indicators of apathy and neglect. The urinal in the mens' room was broken for 3 months. One of the workers left half a cup of McDonald's coffee on a shelf in the cookie section untouched for 3 weeks before I lost track of it. Curious customers that can't read product packaging are opening items on the shelves, going through their contents, and leaving them lie. Clothing racks are in continuous disarray. Foodstuffs are opened, eaten, and left on the shelves for days. Pranksters tamper with personal hygiene items and the employees put them back out for sale. If you wish to buy anything at all, you now have to carefully inspect the packaging. If it looks tampered with in the slightest, walk away. If it wasn't messed with on the shelf, it was probably used, then returned, and is now being sold again as "new". Who wants to pay new prices for used and damaged goods? Nobody. Where do these goods go? I can speak with certainty that a large portion of them get " a lick and a promise" then are put out again for sale. Who buys them? We, the unsuspecting customers, buy them, take them home, and unless its a big-ticket item, we probably throw them out to buy more. To sum it up, if you can afford the fuel and time to drive a few extra miles to avoid this place, do it. Average prices, mediocre service, and substandard business ethics are poor compensation for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI lost my wallet here, the woman from API was very helpful with taking down details to check over camera footage and was going to call me back the next day.. I never heard anything so I went back twice trying to speak with her - another person (a colored woman who was a cashier) asked me a ton of questions and was very reluctant to let me speak with anyone, Iām fairly certain she also did NOT have the authority or power TO review the cameras⦠comes back not even a minute later (after I described exactly what my wallet looked like, like my purse) and says āyou put it in your purse. It was the same patternā still did not let me speak directly with anyone from API or show me proof that what she was saying was actually true. Iām upset because my drivers license, social security card, health card, cash, etc. is all in said wallet and I have retraced ALL of my steps and scoured my vehicle, couch, house etc.
Aside from that, the store itself is OK except for the fact they donāt carry much as itās not a full service store, one day they had NO milk at all, there are NEVER any lines open - only self check out, but still workers just randomly walking around.. getting paid for what? And a lot of which (beside greeters I will say) are rude.
Oh and GOOD LUCK ever getting anyone to answer the phone! Whether itās for grocery pickup or just a question in general they DO NOT answer. I have even called while inside the store which was not busy at the time and no answer...
