Just to clarify this is showing as the haunted attraction, we went on an overnight paranormal investigation. On July 28,2023, my Paranormal Group, booked Hill View Manor for a private overnight investigation. It was about a 5-6 hour drive for us but Hill View was worth the drive and time to get there. I spoke to a gentleman who has been there for about 9 years and he was so knowledgeable and helpful in telling me and my teammate about the history and the people who had lived there and those who had passed away there. One person and I stayed behind while our other 4 members went on the official tour with the woman who checked us in so that we could get the gear ready. The tour they went on was pretty long, around 2 hours so we had time to talk to a few other employees. Everyone that I met was knowledgeable and had great information on where they felt the best hot spots were inside. There was an extra charge to allow us to film inside but we had no problem with that since that's why we went there, I only would have liked to have known that there was an additional charge so if you are going there and want to film, make sure you talk to them about that so it's not a bit of a surpriseš. We got some great responses on the 3rd floor. It was Ashley, Alex and myself up there by ourselves and we had a lot of shadows and Alex did the Estes Method. As Ashley and I asked questions, Alex was responding through the Spirit Box which is used during this method and every answer correlated exactly to our questions. If you go to the 3rd floor, make sure to bring a golf ball to leave because the gentlemen who are still there like the gift. There are 3 men that we spoke with doing the Estes Method. We also had a member do a solo in the basement room that still has some of the past Residents belongings. We split up as to be able to cover these large buildings. Hill View Manor is a definite must go if you love the paranormal. The people who work there are great and a lot of fun to talk with. They give you great information about the history, funny stories and some sad stories of the people who had once called Hill View Manor home. If you are interested in the Paranormal in any aspect, put Hill View Manor on your list. Thanks again to everyone who was there with us that night! Tara says thank you for an amazing...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWas here their 2nd weekend open. Which shout out to their customer service for helping adjust my ticket date. I originally bought online tickets for the wrong date, emailed them which they let me know it was a price increase, which I had no issue since you do save money buying opening weekend but I wasn't available that day to go. No probelms getting tickets for the correct date even though I messed up! Parking was right in front and security quickly pointed us to the side doors of the building. We entered into a room to check in, there was no line and they mentioned to us that the actors were taking a break. As a haunt actor it was great to hear and encouraged them to take the time they needed. We chatted with the staff while we waited. Now if you wanted to be inside the Hill View Manor building you need to buy VIP tickets to tour the facility and then go through the haunt which is in a side building and partially outside. I didn't see that in the tickets so I'll be back because I did want to go through the history rich building. We couldn't go that night because they had a private investigation which you can book! Haunt was very good! Actors did a really good job and there were some very cool costumes!!! The patient in the bed was definitely my favorite! There weren't many actors (due to it being early in the season) but the actors did a great job to get multiple scares and being interactive! There wasn't any snacks or activities so it was a very short trip unless you get the VIP tickets to tour Hill View Manor! Will be back to get those tickets!!! 4 stars cause I wish they had a little more either in activies or a slightly longer haunt. There were 2 main themes and with 2 in a group with no line it took us 15 to 20 mins to trek...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent last night for a public investigation. We have been to other locations so this was not our first. It was a very interesting place to be. We did have some activity. However I really wish that when they do the beginning tour and they ask if this is the first time for anybody they would explain the rules of ghost investigation to them. Those of us who have done it understand then when you're walking through an empty facility you don't speak like you would normally speak anywhere else your sound carries your voice carries so when someone's on the other side of the building they don't know if they're getting activity or if they're hiring somebody on the other side of the hallway. Also it's common courtesy if you walk into a room and there's other investigators in there and there's no real place for you to go then you leave. If there's a hallway will you can go down and there can be some separation then certainly do that but don't hang around in the same area within feet of the other investigators while they're running their equipment. When you pay money to go to these things you expect to have some courtesy from the other people even if they are new at it things should be explained to them. The investigation was till 4:30 we left at 1:30 because of having to deal with the other people that were there. We were told when we were leaving that several other people had left also and I believe that's probably why. I hope from now on when they do the tours they will explain to the people that are knew how to conduct themselves while they are there. Would like to come back but maybe when it's a little bit warmer it was slightly chilly last night when the temperature outside was in the 30's but we...
