We reported that we lost a wallet over the phone. Heidi's response was, we haven't had one turned in and we clean the theaters after each seating. I asked to speak to a Manager, she said she was the Manager. I said look, can you personally accompany us and go in to check the theater yourself, along with us. We know exactly where we were setting. Heidi's response was well I can't allow you to go in, without a Ticket. I said really you cannot show a little service and go check for yourself? Heidi's only reponse was you'll have to wait until the movie let's out to check the theater, I can't go in to ask people to move from seats. We will get complaints. I said look Heidi it doesn't help that you showed no compassion over the phone, not apologized once. But your poor attitude doesn't help the already stressfull situation. Heidi says well I'll go look but If I get a complaint. I said if you explain to the patron they would understand. She storms off and then returns with another guy in a blue shirt but reported they didn't see a wallet. I explained to her that a little customer service was all we were looking for and that we'd not be returning becaue of her treatment and all she reponded was okay. Really Okay! Well I'll go out of my way to patron another theater before I return to the Regal Theater at River Point...
Read moreI went to regal, for the 1st time by myself, I found the product at the concession stand extremely expensive. I spent $30 I got a hot dog a medium popcorn and a large water and of course the movie. I could have had a set down dinner for the price I spent for a hot dog and medium popcorn. I found it extremely amazing that hot dogs are costing them that much. It wasn't a culture dog and it wasn't Hawaiian bread or something special. That's the cheap hot dog that you can buy by the case At Costco's or Sam's for $10 for a 100 of them. Extremely outrageous and hot dog he pulled out from underneath where they should have been rolling on the grill. I was dissatisfied with the customer service I received from the young men working behind the counter he was more interested in his friends and servicing them and was all smiles to them to them and I was questioning whether or not he even ring up the products that he was giving To his friends because of the way he was going back-and-forth from the counter And talking to them and then going back and getting product. I thought it wasIt's highly rude of him to not even acknowledge me and he just spent several minutes to chatting and talking to his friends before he had any concerns about me about me behind them. The movie was good I enjoyed that part of...
Read moreI am writing to protest Regal Cinema's outrageous photo ID policy for "R" rated movies for young adults over the age of 17. I tried to take my son and his best friend to see an "R" rated movie.I did not have any interest in seeing the movie, and I was in the process of buying the tickets for them, when I was informed that they would be required to produce legal identification to prove their ages. They are both over 17, but don't drive and don't have state issued IDs. I explained that my word as a 55 year old parent with an ID should be adequate, but was rebuked. I eventually talked with the manager to ask him to use his authority to waive the requirement. He declined, and I felt like I was being called a liar.I'm extremely insulted and upset. This policy and they way it's enforced is ridiculous, as my word as a parent should be more than sufficient. I would understand if the ratings policy was a law, but it is not, it is simply a suggested guideline that is voluntarily applied. I can't fathom why Regal would not allow their managers to have more discretion in their ability to make decisions.I have been attending movies at the River Point Theater since it was built, but I will never be going back. I hope Regal will reconsider their draconian policy and if...
