Former partner (from a different district) here to say that the customer experience at this store is very good. They're impressively quick, so much so that even if there's a 7 car stack in the drive-thru I really debate whether or not I should park and walk in to pick up my mobile order, because usually by the time I get myself all parked and combobulated, get my order, and get back in my car, the car that was at the end of the drive-thru when I arrived is leaving the window. I know what kind of corners tend to get cut but they never do at this store, in my experience. (And that's NOT because they know I know; I'm pretty sure they don't.) Every now and then my drink is made incorrectly (too few shots or signature instead of blonde), which is kind of annoying because I'm generally a drive-through customer and in the interest of time I can't come back and have it remade, but no matter what it's always made well, and the quality compensates for (rare) mistakes. AND they remake it without making me feel like a massive inconvenience for asking, which is awesome. (Really hated seeing people ask so nervously to have their drink made correctly when I was working for the Siren. Like, y'all this is expensive. If it's not right you deserve for it to be corrected. This store actually acts according to that which is unfortunately getting more and more rare.) Anyway, I don't particularly care for the company's business model. The people here definitely deserve to be treated better by the corporation as a whole. I'm coming back not because I like the company but because I like the staff at this store. A smarter me would just buy an espresso machine and DIY, it would pay for itself in about 2 weeks. I prefer to be silly and see the warm faces...
Read moreI went today to get Starbucks and while in the drive through I asked about the Starbucks rewards. I am new to rewards, signed up on the app and asked for a digital card. So while waiting for my coffee I asked how I get my rewards, the kid at the window not only was completely incompetent. Kept saying “uuuhhh well you get the card ummmm...” (He should lay off the joints before work.) I asked why my digital card doesn’t work and was not given an answer, seemed he didn’t know what he was talking about. So i pulled around, thought I’ll go inside and surely someone can help. Not only was I completely ignored at the counter but when asked again how I get my star points on my digital card, the lady then decided to tell me she was going to get her manager but the manager was on a 10 minute break. So no one helped me, I didn’t get any points and I left rather upset this is not the service I expected. I hope another store is willing to get...
Read moreI was sent here by my boss today because our office had an electrician working on the building, and I'm just trying to respond to emails. I am really struggling to even pay attention to my work because there is super loud clubbing/house music playing and people yelling at each other over it in order to hear their own conversations. I have to walk outside to answer phone calls from customers so it doesn't sound like I'm at a bar.. If I had an option, I'd go elsewhere, but I don't and it seems weird to me that the vibe in here is so chaotic and loud. I've never been to a Starbucks that was playing music SO LOUD, and from what I can find online that's because it should be set to a playlist on Spotify that certainly doesn't bump like this. I understand that baristas are doing their jobs and want to jam out, but it maybe isn't the place when customers are encouraged to use the space for coworking/meetings/phone calls/their own...
