Google needs to separate reviews of the building as a Frank Lloyd Wright building and that of the First Unitarian Universalist Church.
I love being part of the UU tradition, but I found it Incredibly difficult to deal with architectural admirers wanting to troop through the church, especially the main sanctuary, just about anytime they want. The building has been incredibly expensive to maintain....and instead of the cost falling on the shoulders of curious Frank Lloyd Wright fans, it fell on the shoulders of people who attended the congregation.
As a result of the "church" being unable to make any definitive decision about who should bare the cost of a Frank Lloyd Wright building, I left. I was incredibly poor as a member, yet they expected my financial contribution to support the maintenance of a building.

My MIL, who is a mom to five and works 60 hour weeks, came to UW Children’s Hospital to visit her granddaughter (my 3 month old daughter) who just had two open heart surgeries in a four day period.
