Grande Flowers — Attraction in Shorewood

This is an important local business that is worth your time and money. I've gotten bouquets here several times a year, for about 6 years now. I've been to maybe two or three other pro florist shops, these guys are top notch. If you're like me and have absolutely zero talent selecting an appropriate arrangement of colors and textures and seasonal junk, you need only give them a price range and perhaps the recipient, occasion, or color preference. I just say hey it's my girlfriends bday, she likes orange tones, id like to spend 20-30$. No judging, no further questions.. They will do the rest, and it always works out beautifully. If you're more discerning or knowledgeable about floral design, you can certainly pick your own. They do sell a number of other gifts in their small storefront, some nice jewelry, seasonal items, potted plants, etc. Of course they can deliver, and appear to have a good looking website for ordering a delivery online.

My favorite part though, is their awesome rotation of storefront displays throughout the year.. Christmas, Halloween, etc. They are usually one of the first businesses to put decorations up in Shorewood, and it's always really eye catching and well put...

According to their website, the store is CLOSED today (Thursday, December 1st). Logged on well before 4pm too. What?!?! I just called another geographically close florist as well, and while the owner was a pleasure to speak with...he claimed there was no way that he could accommodate my request for a bouquet of roses, etc. Not only today, but not even tomorrow as well. Once again...what?!?! Looks like there's a significant business opportunity for someone interested in opening a flower shop within the Whitefish Bay/Shorewood area. One could conquer the market with appropriate hours of operation, solid work ethic, and quality customer service. It appears business is just too plentiful and margins way too high catering to weddings and funerals, so the average birthday flower arrangement in the $90+ tier is just not that appealing. Disappointed to...

This store has been a go-to place for me for the past 2 years to get  flowers for special occasions.  The owners have always provided  helpful suggestions in putting something nice together, the final results are brilliant and are delivered on time.  I've also picked out a few premade arrangements on a whim that looked great.

My Wife and I used Grande Flowers for our wedding and we were very happy with the results.  The owners helped us put together centerpieces, bouquets, corsages and boutineers that looked great and fit our budget.  The owner we worked with primarily, Julie, did a great job responding to our communications and made sure everything was set up on time, and had no problem incorporating some special materials we had purchased into the centerpieces.
