It's not a bad place to take the kids to escape the heat. However, I do have some complaints. My biggest is that the older balding white guy with glasses, a lifeguard, likes to watch young girls a little too closely. I caught him eyeballing two young girls, one I knew, when I told her mom she wanted her to get out and this creep eyeballed her the whole time she was getting out. Someone needs to do a background check on this guy. Also, many of us find it interesting that the rules are "No outside food or drinks during open swim". Additionally, if you want to have a birthday party at the cove you have to pay for the birthday area. However, it has been the trend that if you are Hispanic, these rules do not apply. There is barely any seating during the summer time but Hispanic families come in, group tables together and take up large sections. They grab as many chairs as they can, some are just for their bags, and bring in large amounts of food and drinks. They do not do this just for birthdays, it's all the time. This causes the snackbar to lose revenue and revenue for the group party area. So, several of us are going to continue to pursue this with the city and take it onto some local social media platforms and raise a claim of biased and...
Read moreOn 07/13 we visited The Cove for a birthday celebration and was thoroughly impressed with the facility's amenities and cleanliness. The swimming pools were well-maintained, the water was crystal clear, and there were ample lifeguards on duty ensuring safety. The variety of aquatic activities available catered to all age groups. Additionally, the changing rooms were spotless and spacious, making the overall experience very pleasant. However, I must mention a disappointing aspect of our visit. The customer service at the front desk was way below par. The cashier was extremely disrespectful and rude, which marred the otherwise positive experience. She seemed annoyed or irritated in assisting customers and her unfriendly attitude was quite off-putting. It's unfortunate that such a wonderful facility is let down by poor customer service at the front desk. Despite this, I would still recommend The Cove for its excellent aquatic facilities and hope that management addresses the issue with the front desk staff to improve the overall...
Read moreIf I could give this place no stars I would. I will never waste my money on this place ever again. The manager John Healy here at the cove is very disrespectful. I went to go swimming with my friends and was swimming for a good hour and a half right in front of the lifeguards. It started with the lifeguards saying that the youngest didn't have approved floaties on then they told me I could not wear a mask in the water after I have been in the water with it for over an hour. Then I spoke with the manager who was completely disrespectful and talked to me like I was a 2 year old. He said because kids don't know how to swim with them I pretty much wasn't allowed too either. It does not have it posted in the main swim area only up front in small print. After he proceeds to follow us around for about an hour till close. Also the staff look inside bathroom stalls while they are occupied and the manager does absolutely nothing about it...
