Strega — Local services in Sierra Vista

I travel extensively for work, and subsequently have visited numerous metaphysical and witchcraft supply shops over the years and I can say without a doubt, this is still my absolute favorite store. The folks at Strega are always warm, helpful, and knowledgeable. I cannot say the same for a lot of other similar stores I've encountered, unfortunately. Whenever I've come in with a question or in search of something, they're always on the ball and I've never left empty handed. They always have a robust selection of high quality, unique, and useful products available that I can use for my practice.

Their crystals/stones are top notch, with superb pricing for the size. I also absolutely LOVE the information cards they have available for each. You can tell someone put a lot of time and effort into composing them and they're not just a copy and paste print job pulled from the internet. Additionally, their stones are genuine and authentic! I cannot emphasize this enough. This is a HUGE issue I've encountered at other metaphysical/craft stores. I don't know how many times I've stopped in other places, looked at the "stones" and they're either resin or glass duplicates being pawned off to the unknowing at astronomical prices. The ones at Strega, thankfully, are the real deal, through and through.

Aside of stones, they have a lovely assortment of pendulums, educational materials, statues, altar decor, herbs, grimoires, and tarot cards just to name a few.

While I've admittedly not yet had the opportunity to attend one of their on-site classes, they have quite a variety of class offerings that are regularly offered and ongoing. I've seen classes ranging from beginners basic tarot reading skills to spellwork to advanced psychic shielding, and many more inbetween. There is something for everyone, and I appreciate that they acknowledge and offer classes for both beginners, all the way to more advanced practitioners.

All in all, out of all the stores I've been to over the years, Strega has been my favorite, hands down, from day one. I highly recommend it to others, regardless if you're a newbie just starting out or a seasoned practitioner, you'll not be disappointed. Strega is NOT service dog friendly. My service dog and I went to check out their new location and were thrown out after being YELLED at. The owner (I'm assuming because who else would treat customers like that?) claimed she had an airborne allergy and complained about having to close. PER ADA LAW allergies or fear of dogs are not a reason to deny access, aka discriminate, against service dog users. My dog was well behaved, under control, didn't touch anything but the floor, and was fully vested in her medical alert gear. Accommodations for people with allergies can be made. Had she had asked us to stay at the front of the shop (because she was in the back in a separate room) and explained we would have been fine to accommodate, we probably would have left if this was gone about NICELY. You WILL be reported to the Department of Justice (DOJ) for discrimination. Do you also close the entire shop after each customer and clean? People may carry in pet dander if they live with animals. I am absolutely totally 159% in love with this store. She has such a wonderful variety of items. A little off this and a little off that. She has a wonderful collection of hard to find books. I love that she carries Oracle Cards. The ship has a warm, comfortable feeling. The owner is a wonderful woman. If you get the chance, definitely chat with her. She’s very knowledgeable and just super nice to talk to. I adore her local artist gallery she offers. It’s nice to see someone willing to help local artists promote their works.
