Don’t even start with that “I’m from California so I know blah blah blah about Mexican food.”
Mexican food fans, this is the real deal, authentic, traditional Mexican food. It is a very small restaurant. How small? Well, my car would not fit in the dining area. How small? There is a refrigerator by the bathroom. The refrigerator door and the bathroom door cannot be open at the same time. There are 5 table/booths. There is no English spoken here. Drinks are limited to Mexican Cokes, those other colorful sugary drinks in a bottle, and bottled water. Thankfully, I know how to say in weird sounding Spanish, “dos aquas.”
No chips and salsa on the menu. A torta for my wife and a burrito for me. Both packed with fresh grilled chopped carne asada. My burrito had some seasoned rice, much more meat than rice, though. The guy working the cash register delivered both meals to the table, then returned with the plastic squirt bottles of very good salsa.
An enjoyable tasty dining experience. Eat authentic Mexican food here.

Read moreWhile child labor laws allow parents to make their children work if they own the business, that does not make it right. It also does not make me want to come back to this place after numerous bad visits. The children, literal children under the age of 16, seem to be the only people that speak English in this establishment. Which would never be a problem, especially considering my husband speaks Spanish. But that being said, our orders are always wrong, always, and the children are rude and don’t care. It is obvious they do not want to be there, I would not want to be there, and yet they are the face of the restaurant. Regardless if we order in English or Spanish, something is always wrong and they are always ready to blame the patron of the establishment. In fact, the last time we ate there we let them know that we were missing a taco and the man who was cooking accused us of eating it. After getting our order wrong, again, last night, it has been decided that the owners of this establishment don’t care enough to keep our business. Which is terribly unfortunate, I will miss their tacos which is why I’m giving two stars...
Read moreSiloam Springs offers a variety of Latin cuisines from both restaurants and food trucks; however, moving from Illinois, the quality of most locations lack. This place, which we call the green house, has offered us With the best in both taste, quality, authenticity, and price. The inside is quite small and recommend for take out. They have a huge menu, and mostly the quality of the meats and flavor of their food is very good when compared to alternative Mexican and Latinx food in this area. It’s also a family owned local restaurant and highly recommend for anyone looking for good quality food. I especially like their al pastor, which is one of the meats that I use to get an idea of the quality of ingredients and taste gauge for Latin food. I’m giving it a four star because of the lack of indoor space and also lack of drinking option, which often doesn’t have traditional Mexican...
