First and foremost, I love Pour Jons - they make delicious drinks & food, and some of the employees have become good friends to me and now know me by name. They often remember my order and have always been immensely kind and so friendly. I won't stop buying from Pour Jons as long as I live in Siloam. However, I wanted to share with others that you should not stop by Pour Jons if you're wanting to order something quickly. I've had two experiences where I've waited 45 minutes for one cup of iced coffee, and had to catch a plane that same day, which was a disastrous experience, and I wish I had left without waiting for my coffee that I already paid for. This week I had to wait 45 minutes for a breakfast sandwich that I ordered to go. I would recommend ordering ahead if you need something faster, but even when I ordered ahead for my iced coffee and came in to pick it up 10 minutes later, I still had to wait for 45 minutes - almost an hour in total. Often the wait is worth it and it won't deter me from continuing to shop at Pour Jons, but sometimes it's been...
Read moreI love Pour Jons. I have been coming here since it began. I even worked here for a short spell. Right now I am sitting in the upstairs with a pour over at my own table with seven windows providing light from two directions. It is the perfect working environment. The coffee and tea is wonderful. There are always at least three different beans to choose from and at least 20 different teas. If you start drinking coffee at Pour Jons, your tastes will change. They consistently make high quality drinks. Though, Pour Jons is not just for snobby coffee connoisseurs. The espresso is phenomenal, and you can get a great latte with any number of quality syrups. If you just want coffee, without "an experience," get the drip brew! You walk in and hand them a few bucks, they give you a cup, you pump the hot coffee, and you leave. Done. If you became a regular, I'm sure that this process could be streamlined so that you do not even have to speak. The service and the people are wonderful. Chris, the owner, and the baristas are more than willing to give you whatever experience...
