However over time the geese and ducks have become so "eager " to eat what you brought them that my 3 year old son is usually scared about 2 minutes into feeding them because they totally swarm you and get way too close for comfort.... that being said if you don't bring food or attempt to feed the cute ducks and geese it's a great park ( beware and dont be intimidated by the very very loud and obnoxious flock of bigger Chinese geese. Read moreThis park blew my mind. First off, I have lived in Ventura County for years and never really travelled or familiarised myself to Simi Valley. Maybe if I would have known that a park like this was here, I would have. It didn't even look like it was in Simi Valley. I felt like I had taken a step out of reality. There were geese, ducks, streams, a lake, beautifully kept grass, massive trees, cranes, etc. The list could go on and on. I didnt do too much exploring but was able to take in, what I thought seemed like the most beautiful part. They have fields here, playgrounds, community center, swimming pool, and so much more!
