Presto Pasta — Restaurant in Simi Valley

I wrote to the store’s website, but received no answer. Here it is:

I just finished lunch at the Simi Valley ‪Presto Pasta‬.   I ordered the lunch specials for my two grandkids with me and once we got their order settled, I said I will have the same thing and told him what I wanted on my pizza and I what I wanted on my salad.  All three salads were Ranch on the side.  I paid. Then he asked if we wanted water glasses.  I didn’t realize drinks didn’t come with the lunch special.  He didn’t ask, prior to my paying, if I wanted drinks.  So, two credit card transactions.  When the food arrived, we received three pizzas and two salads. We also had three cups of Ranch dressing.  I said we need one more salad. He said I only ordered two. I said I ordered three lunch specials. He said I didn’t and I could have the itemized receipt.  After a couple minutes, I went up and got the receipt. Sure enough it’s not on there. But, I DID order it. Why would he ask what I wanted on my salad if I didn’t order one. He told me he could give me a salad for $2. No thank you. Why would I pay a dollar more for a lunch special than my grandkids did? I ordered the same thing as them, didn’t get my salad, and then he wants me to pay two dollars to get a salad! Also, I ordered Canadian bacon and tomatoes on my pizza. I took a bite of the pizza and what is supposed to be Canadian bacon, I guess, was like biting into jerky. I couldn’t even get a fork through it.!! I had to take it off the pieces of pizza that I ate!

This was my first time coming to ‪Presto pasta‬ but I’m not sure that I will return to PP after having my ordered messed up and then having the server...

Placed a mobile order. Upon arrival was greeted right away and upon reaching the front of the line, was very professionally and properly ask if I could please give him just one moment. This was perfectly fine because they were very busy as I could see them hustling around w a sense of urgency as they should. It seemed that he also wanted to make sure he stayed organized. They checked the food for accuracy and upon verifying the sauce was not on the side only as instructed, he and another employer in the front immediately apologized, took ownership and resolved things right away. Being In professional and customer service settings myself, I was highly impressed by these two and if they aren’t already, they should be managers! ONE OF THE BEST PASTA PLACES EVER. I REPEAT ONE OF THE BEST. I have been to a lot of pasta places but none like this. Their pastas are SO creamy and so flavorful. Like wow I cant believe it. The tomato bisque was also creamy and delicious. 10 dollars for fettuccine alfredo and a tomato bisque soup plus a drink . What a steal. It fills you up well and is plenty of food. They have that drink machine that you can pick 100's of drink flavors as well. Their customer service is perfect as well as the employees are very respectful and check up on you offen to see if you are enjoying the food.
