If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! 805 Quesa Birria Tacos catered our February San Diego wedding of 95 people with ease! The entire process from start to finish was good vibes all around! Fernando was extremely kind, professional, helpful and communicative. He made sure we completely understood their offerings so that we could make it all work with our budget. He talked us through my options for a few guests we had that were Kosher/Vegan, and was able to come up with an amazing option for them as well! He easily navigated our changing guest count as it got closer to the date (if you've ever had a wedding, you know how that goes) and he made sure we never had a concern throughout the entire process. He truly put our needs before his own and treated us like family. Booking was super easy, and he was quick to respond to all of our questions. We knew we wanted tacos for the wedding and 805 Quesa Birria blew our expectations out of the water! Fernando texted me that morning and kept me updated on their travel and arrival time since they were traveling from Simi Valley to San Diego! They showed up early to set up and were super respectful of the space in the venue. Their set-up and presentation was perfect. I didn't have a single issue or worry at all! Wedding food is almost never amazing, but our wedding food is all I heard about from our guests! It was DELICIOUS. We added on the taquitos and the shrimp ceviche for our cocktail hour (Added a photo of those!) and everyone LOVED THEM! Fernando and his team made sure my husband and I had a plate of exactly what we wanted waiting at our table first thing as the reception started, which was a wonderful touch! I had multiple guests let me know they went back for seconds and even thirds, they loved it that much. And I couldn't agree more! It truly was the one thing we were most excited about for our wedding, and somehow they exceeded all of the expectations we had! Overall, the process was a total breeze, Fernando and the team treated us like family and provided extremely high-quality service and insanely delicious food. My husband and I cannot stop thinking about the tacos. We will absolutely be booking them for family parties and really any other party in the future. One of the more important wedding decisions has GOT to be food. It's one of the things that people remember the most. We sought for long periods of time who we'd trust in providing excellent food AND excellent service. We are so very lucky to have found Fernando and 805 Quesabirria. First impressions are HUGE and right from our initial conversation and quotes he was extremely responsive, respectful and informative. Through the months leading up to our event, anytime we had questions, we always felt like he was super accessible and able to answer any questions we had at almost any given time. Price point, of course, was a big factor for us and Fernando really worked with us to give us a very competitive pricing compared to other services. When the big day finally came he went out of his way to come extra early to make sure he could prepare effectively enough to make the flow work best. Honestly, once he came in, he handled everything and worked his magic. He hardly ever needed me and always asked for my opinion on how things were looking for the set up. On his set-up, man is he prepared. Him and his crew got things set up extremely quickly and he really comes prepared. Now onto the food. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. The guests absolutely loved the food and drinks he offered. Given the chance, I would definitely hire him again. That goes without saying that I'd recommend him to anyone I know looking for a bomb🍑 service with prime-level 🌮. His professionalism, responsiveness, and dedication to ensuring an amazing experience for our guests were evident every step of the way. He went above and beyond, even accommodating a request for churros—which were a huge hit!

Now, let’s talk about the food and setup… FABULOUS! Despite the chilly, rainy day, every dish was served hot, fresh, and absolutely mouthwatering. The food line moved quickly and efficiently, and guests couldn’t get enough—many went back for seconds, thirds, or even fourths! By the end of the evening, people were stuffed and raving about how delicious everything was.
