My husband and I went in to get our wedding rings sized. We were told they couldnât size his ring but they could sell him a new ring. We both expressed that the rings had sentimental value to us and buying a new one didnât feel right. So after his was not going to be fixed, we moved on to mine. I wish now that we would have just left. My finger was sized and explained to me there could be an issue because I have baguettes on my ring and sizing is sometimes an issue and they would let me know if there was going to be an issue. I heard nothing so assumed all was good. They called and said my rings were ready. When I got there learned that my engagement ring, with baguettes, was not able to be sized but they did size my wedding band. I was not contacted about it, and now have two different sized rings. I asked if she could explain why my ring couldnât be sizedâŚand this is where the rudeness picked up. Obviously over the course of our long marriage, bodies can change. I wasnât expecting to be insulted and humiliated. The explanation of why my ring couldnât be sized included the employee saying - loudly for all to hear - going from a 4 1/2 to a 7 is a huge huge jump. And then some other things - then repeated - loudly - the sizes and continued to talk. She was rude and not at all helpful. I finally interrupted her and told her she didnât need to continue emphasizing the sizes, I know it changed which is why I needed it sized. I asked why no one called me to let me know it couldnât be done and now I have two different sized rings. She said - well at least one will fit you. At that point I finished paying and left.    Read moreIncredibly disappointed in this local jewelry store. I took a pendant in to have the stones reset into a ring 3 weeks ago. I was told Ashley was the only person who could help me. She did contact me to give me a couple prices and mountings to look at. Once I decided to go ahead I had a very difficult time getting through to Ashley. It took several days of text messages and leaving phone messages to finally get through to her. When I asked when I could expect it to be done, she told me she would get me that information the following day. This was June 30. I never heard from her the following day July 1 and had to call the store myself. It was clear that she had not ordered the mounting yet. She told me my ring should be done by done today, July 15. I have had no communication at all over the last 2 weeks from her. I called this afternoon and she had no answer as to when I could expect my ring to be ready but she assured me she would call me back today with more information. It was 4:30 today that I spoke with her. It is now 7:26pm and she still has not been in touch with me.    Read moreThis was our first time into Clarkâs Fine Jewelers. WOW, what a great experience. I brought in my wedding band to be resized. The team was very professional and took time in making sure that they could resize my ring to a proper fit.
They told me it may be a few days and they would call me when the work was completed. I got the call 1 day later which was much quicker than expected.
When I picked up my ring, at first I thought it was not mine. It looked fantastic ( better than when we bought it 18 years earlier). The new fit is great.
